The fact is, if we hold Obama to his word that 'we want them to succeed,' we have to start asking and answering questions he doesn't want to even broach. For example, if that's truly the case, why are they compelled to travel to the USA to get their education? What is it about Mexico that they can't get a quality education and succeed over there? Isn't it more important for Mexico that their top talent is cultivated in their homeland, rather than in a neighboring country? And if they can't cultivate that talent with their educational system, the question then is why, and what can they do to remedy that?

Frankly, if Obama and the liberals are to be believed, their position is incredibly insulting and patronizing. Whether 'we' want them to succeed or not is immaterial. If they have the will to succeed in life, they shall succeed, whether liberal elites patronize them or not.
