Ebraheim Salem's brother never talked about joining the freedom fighters in their father's homeland until he was driving to the airport for a flight to Libya three weeks ago.
Abdulrahman Salem is a software developer for Google in Pittsburgh, his brother said. He went to Libya to set up Internet communications for the rebels -- and not to throw rocks. Abdulrahman Salem graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 with a degree in information science, and he created a website for the fighters to communicate.
Tribune-Review Middle East correspondent Betsy Hiel saw Salem in Benghazi over the weekend and interviewed him in Cairo on March 18.
"I just want to pitch in and help," he said then, adding that he was optimistic the rebels would overthrow Gadhafi. "God is on our side."

He should be viewed the same way as someone who travelled to Afghanistan pre-2001
Thank you for the link.
We’d be better off if our idiot Dennis the Menace president just put six or eight hundred million dollars in a stack and set it on fire.

Yea, we know who the ‘fighters’ are, don’t we?
At least his name isn't Nick Berg. Strange how the lefties seem to be sitting this one out...
What ever happened to “you’re either with us or you’re with the terrorists”?
