In a speech Wednesday at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., President Obama will outline his plan for America’s energy security, and according to senior White House officials, forge a new course in public discussion on the future of the country’s oil supply and energy independence.

The speech marks the beginning of a concerted effort from the administration to communicate a satisfying energy plan in the wake of increasingly broad criticism of its approach to regulations and offshore drilling.

It's amazing how much these fools in the administration get away with. Getting them laughed off the stage is something we all need to concentrate on. The anti-anything that works energywise administration is now going to lecture us on how to become energy independant.

Maybe he'll call this a war on energy and wear a sweater.....

Words always mean the opposite of what they usually mean when Democrats use them.

What Barry is really saying is that he wants our energy supply to be insecure. And expensive. And unreliable.

Eliminate the Energy Department. Since its inception, the price of energy has gone up exponentially. Of course, BO would never see government regulation and political intervention as the problem.

The only satisfying energy plan would be to open up ANWAR and start drilling like a band of crazy monkeys, oh, and open up the Gulf again. But that's not nuanced enough for these morons.

The dialectic in action; declare an energy security program then prohibit anyone from exploring for energy, thereby making energy sources non-existent.

(Democrats and power, a dangerous combination.)

IMHO

“My fellow citizens. I am firmly committed to providing you absolutely reliable power — for 3 hours every day. During that three hours, my administration will absolutely guarantee that your power will not go off. Unfortunately, we are unable to let you select which three hours you will get power, but you should be thankful we are letting you get power sometime during the day at all. Don’t forget, you are much better off than many other countries and things could be much worse if it weren’t for me.”

Energy security? Oh yeah. I feel real secure with those windmills blowin’ in the wind as he cuts off our main sources.

In this case they did the prohibition first. Now they're going to declare the energy security plan.

Chutzpah (and idiocy) at its peak.

why does Georgetown continue to give facetime to this abortion loving, liberty sucking clown?

As before, will they purge all the Christian symbols from his podium before he speaks?

Do you remember when, in the beginning of W Bush’s time in office there was talk of drilling in ANWAR and one of the talking points the traitors used what that it would take up to 10 years to get the first drop of oil out of the ground?

This was a theory that I absolutely didn’t agree with and even if it would have taken those 10 years, guess what?

We would have been pumping oil for probably 2 years out of ANWAR by now.

These traitors to our country really piss me off.

How mush you want to bet hidden in the plan is a CO2 tax and CO2 regulations.

I know, dear, I know. I got so sick of the “10 years for results” excuse too. It’s about time to for them to trot that out again, isn’t it?
Orange jumpsuits would look so nice on them. ; )

The Oil and Gas industry is free to spend whatever they want on ads, and many of them are quite effective. Nothing on Barry’s teleprompter is gonna match them.
