According to the GasBuddy gasoline price tracking web site, the price of a gallon of regular gas was around $1.79 when Mr. Obama took office. Today the national average is $3.58. The lowest average price in the continental United States is $3.31 in Tulsa Oklahoma, the highest is $4.14 in Santa Barbara, CA. I wish I was only paying $4.14/gal. Avg. price on Maui is $4.40/gal. and as high as $4.80 with diesel @$4.53/gal. or more. We will be looking at $5.50/gal. by summer.

Contrary to popular trash economics journalism of the past three years or so, east Asia is still increasing its fuel consumption. Gasoline and diesel fuel will go much higher with our government debts adding to the trend: probably over $10 per gallon before long. Prepare, and enjoy the ride.

I’m starting to think he’s stirred up a civil war in Libya just to disrupt the oil supplies some more. Some of the NATO countries are on the verge of economic collapse. Having one of their major oil supplies cut off and having to fund a protracted military operation could push some of them over the edge. The socialists will be witing to take advantage of the chaos that will ensue.

There is no justice. Where is the MSM? When prices rose during the Bush years you would have thought the sky was failing because of all the gnashing of teeth by the MSM. Now it up 100% during a Democratic administration and you don't hear a peep.
