Madison - A 26-year-old woman was charged Thursday with two felony counts and two misdemeanor counts for allegedly making email threats against Wisconsin lawmakers during the height of the battle over Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.
Katherine R. Windels of Cross Plains was named in a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Criminal Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Windels allegedly sent an email threat to State Sen. Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) March 9. Later that evening, she allegedly sent another email to 15 Republican legislators, including Senate Majority Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau).
The subject line of the second email was: "Atten.: Death Threat!!!! Bomb!!!" In that email, she purportedly wrote, "Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your familes will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks."

The case will be heard in Dane County. Nothing will happen to her.

She may not go to jail, but anyone of them if not all can have her sending them checks for the rest of their lives.
To: Jean S
I can’t even believe charges were filed.

The history of government is mostly one of force. One faction or coalition of factions overwhelm others. Our system was designed in part, to avoid such destruction.
We are approaching the endpoint of 75 years of democrat/labor union governance.
Collapse.

Proves that a college degree does not neccessarily make one intelligent. A baby’s thermometer has a lot of degrees. This woman has a college degree, teaches and doesn’t have enough sense to know that kind of email will get you arrested?

According to a Marquette law professor that Sykes had on a few days ago, no. He said that Dane county judges have special privileges over laws passed in Madison. The professor also said that Sumi has no jurisdiction over Senate and Assembly rules and that she overstepped big time.

She has a 2 year “degree” from an unnamed school. That’s not much of an education, IMO. She MIGHT be educated enough to feed my goldfish.
This woman should be prosecuted to the fullest extent, then jailed appropriately. She should be barred from public service, especially in education. Anyone threatening murder & bombing is unfit for public service.
