What's not to understand? You stated "Instead of being a man". I just wanted you to know he has earned the title of Marine. Which in MHO, makes him a man. Period!

It is not a statement of agreement, nor of disagreement, regarding your post.

It sounds like this guy shot a rogue elephant and if he didn’t do it one of the rangers would have come and shot it. I’ve seen videos of the elephants raiding these villagers gardens at night and the people run out screaming and yelling with torches etc and it does no good. The elephants just destroy everyhthing. Sometimes they destroy people’s huts and even kill folks. Its a different world. At least a whole lot of people got some meat which I’m sure they don’t get all the time. Nothing went to waste.

From what I have seen most of these countries manage their elephant herds pretty well and they are not in danger of extinction.

Yellowstone Park has to shoot a number of rogue Grizzlies every year and its a shame but it has to be done to protect the humans.

I admit its hard to watch and its hard to see the dead animal laying on the ground especially if you don’t hunt.
