Wal-Mart US CEO To America: "Prepare For Serious Inflation"

To those who think that buying food in the corner deli is becoming a luxury, we have five words: you ain't seen nuthin' yet. U.S. consumers face "serious" inflation in the months ahead for clothing, food and other products, the head of Wal-Mart's U.S. operations warned Wednesday talking to USA Today. And if Wal-Mart which is at the very bottom of commoditized consumer retail, and at the very peak of avoiding reexporting of US inflation by way of China is concerned, it may be time to panic, or at least cancel those plane tickets to Zimbabwe, which is soon coming to us.

Time to relearn those sewing skills your mom tried to teach you! Make our own clothes, grow our own food. People survived centuries living that way. Sounds good.

He certainly is right. I hope we don’t wake up one day and Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, et al are no longer to be found. It could be a matter of time.

Hershey chocolate just said that because sugar has more than doubled in price in a year, that they’re raising prices 10%. Perfect timing, just in time for Easter.

FYI, the garden is coming along nicely. With about 30 varieties of fruits and vegetables, almost everything is up and growing. Just waiting on the peppers and asparagus but that’s to be expected.

>>Bend over America..

Nah, let's just put the TEA kettle back on the stove, grow a Victory garden - and tell the Oligarchic Wallmart Rainbow SOB's where they can grow their carrots.

There are honest community credit unions and financial institutions in every locale -- who didn't jump aboard the Sub-Prime fraud gravy train --financial institutions who Wall Mart is shafting by supporting the Fed Interchange Rule.

Find those honest financial institutions and reward them with your business - and give Wall Mart and their Credit-Card mongering associates a cashectomy.

If the collectivist fraudsters are hungry - LET THEM EAT A$$PAPER

If you watch the video you get to see a Bill Simon kiss Michelle Obama’s ass. He had the opportunity to meet with her to talk about the healthy food initiatives and she was very gracious to meet with him. I'm sure they read this guy the riot act and then horned in on his operation.

The only Hershey chocolate I buy are Cadbury Eggs. This year they are $.85 each. Atrocious. I will not buy anymore.

Although I am probably wrong, they seem smaller too boot.

“U.S. consumers face “serious” inflation”

What is serious inflation? 5%, 10% or 15%? If you are on a fixed income 2% is serious.
