Arianna Huffington sat down with The New York Times Magazine (you will recall, of course, the the NYTs executive editor, Bill Keller, has made it quite clear that hes none to happy with the Huffington Posts method of aggregating content) to discuss pleasant topics like how her father, a former newspaperman, would feel about accusations that her site is responsible for that whole death of print thing we keep reading about in newspapers. The magazine broached another contentious and persistent criticism the Huffington Post has been contending with since its inception, and especially

People such as Arianna Huffington either kid themselves that they are 'progressive' but not politically 'left' or else they know exactly where they stand, politically, but also realize that admitting it would be detrimental to getting their views considered and not simply dismissed, as the left dismisses anything that isn't toe-the-line
liberal, er, 'progressive'. I believe Arianna Huffington is in the latter group. She also fools no one (with even half a brain).
