Congress has no authority to regulate drugs; consider for a moment that we needed to pass a Constitutional amendment to regulate alcohol in such a manner AND that the 21st Amendment repealed the 18th in full, meaning that ALL powers to regulate a substance stemming from the 18th Amendment are now illegitimate.
A better track [IMO] would be to open investigation on the ATF for violation of international treaty the US has signed; IIRC the US has a treaty w/ Mexico disallowing any transfer of firearms into Mexico save by those authorized by the Mexican government.
Quite agreed; it would be far more interesting to use those enumerated powers and guarantees as-written.

Your are correct about getting better information, but there is a plan for the left to “fix” that. Howard Dean is ranting about Fox news “lies”, and Soros is after it as well.
