First the U.S. automaker recession, and now this. Charlie Sheen unleashed his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour on the Motor City on Saturday night. We’re on the scene now — refresh for updates.
10:03 — The show is now an unmitigated disaster. People are leaving early. Attendee Chris Acchione, who came all the way from Toronto for the show, says, “He’s making a fool of himself. Is there a bigger loser in the world?”
9:20 — People start booing. Sheen yells, “I already got your money, dude!”
9:18 – “Nothing terrifies a troll more than its own reflection,” Sheen continues, before shifting gears into politics. “In a recent poll, they told me I’d bring down that whore Palin. I don’t have time for that nonsense.”
9:15 — Nobody understands a word Sheen is saying. “”Is anybody else as confused by this s— as I am?” he finally asks. There are roars from the crowd. “I wrote every word!”

I have more respect for Sheen saying that...who are the biggest morons: the idiots who actually paid to see this crap or Sheen who was honest about it?
Now what did the ticket holders expect: poetry reading?
I said all along that he’d better sell out all of the shows before he takes the stage for the first one. Once you’ve read the description and the suspense is gone, what’s the point of sitting through the trainwreck?
One idiot on local news admited he paid $300 for his ticket. Guess the people who went are “LOSERS”.

Of course it’s buyer beware but people might have expected a professional performance from him. Stating he has their money is just crass and boorish. If he had any respect for the people who shelled out that much money for his tix he might offer a refund.

I disagree. Those people expect a Bush-bash type of a meltdown and they didn’t get it. Sheen also side-stepped Palin (even though he called her a whore’), and the crowd didn’t get that either.
Sheen has no respect for himself why would you think he would have any for anyone else.
On his best day he was an idiot.
Chicago’s biggest talk radio guy has been trying to talk people into going with free tickets and has had little luck. The word is the ticket brokers are taking a bath on these tickets having gone long in them. The public is not buying.
I love it when the Insane attack those we love.
Not sure who is more dumb: Sheen or the people who actually spent money to listen to that fool say basically nothing. Pitiful.
