Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says congressional lawmakers are discussing taking some action in response to the Koran burnings of a Tennessee pastor that led to killings at the U.N. facility in Afghanistan and sparked protests across the Middle East, Politico reports.

Sen. Lindsey Graham said Congress might need to explore the need to limit some forms of freedom of speech, in light of Tennessee pastor Terry Jones’ Quran burning, and how such actions result in enabling U.S. enemies.

I cannot believe the people of South Carolina reelected that idiot (Lucy Graham) to the Senate in 2008

There are certain segments of this state who also keep reelecting Clyburn.

I didn't vote for either. Those of us who pay attention are wondering why this keeps happening, too.

Another poster said he’d burn a free Koran but he wouldn’t buy one to burn. I think I would - it just may show how ridiculous this entire episode is. I agree with a mass burning - who cares if they have to be purchsed first? It would be worth it!

They don’t need an excuse to cause mayhem and murder in the world - they just grabbed this for some reason. Then again, they don’t need any reason to do anything - if they can’t kill us, they’ll kill each other.

Can you imagine someone organizing a mass Koran burning somewhere in this country and watching the politicians and media go bonkers? I would love to see others as perturbed as we are over such goings on....

How does burning a Koran "enable" U.S. Enemies?

As if they need a reason. The Quran tells them to murder. They murder.

The Russian UN worker who claimed to be Muslim was spared. The rest he was trying to hide and protect were murdered. Why doesn't congress investigate that?

These morons are always looking at ways to reduce freedom. I’m inspired to burn the Koran myself, just to spite these tyrannic morons (and perhaps to agitate the moron Islamofascists that seek to silence dissent).

Attacking the first amendment because some morons in the middle east aren’t ready for social order - BS.

Is there any way to recall this traitor?

You need to watch it, Lindsey. Neither you nor any other Congresscritter has the right to do that.

Read the Bill of Rights. Then read it again for good measure.

And remember, as a public servant, you work for us.

Not the other way around.

They do that and I'll start burning Korans on the capital steps myself. (that's my kneejerk response and I'm sticking with it)

I'll join you and I'll video it!

Reid: Probe of Quran Burning Considered

Let me save the government some money. Some idiot in Flordia burned a Koran for the exact same reason why the Phelps family picket soldier funerals - to attract attention to themselves and their pathetic excuse for a church. Case closed. Investigation over. Next case.

Hey Graham you moron...........

It's perfectly constitutional to burn whatever book you want, as long as it's your property. There is nothing more to be said about this.

Westboro Church gets a pass.

Ironically, the Westboro decision strengthens the first amendment, including the right to burn the Koran.

I'd buy one to burn, whatever it costs is worth it. Where is the bonfire?

Never mind it probably was also triggered by the killing of civilians and the pictures by our soldiers. How do we know what was said in the Mosque before the attacks? They just want to give cover for Obama, because had Bush been President, the MSM would have blamed it on the soldiers, instead of the stupid pastor.
