The stimulus was a slush fund. It was a pile of money, the percentage of which was earmarked for the Democrat Party, under the guise of creating jobs and rebuilding schools and roads and bridges and all of that that has not happened. It was never going to happen. The money was never earmarked for that. It was just said to be earmarked for that. And then when there wasn't any noticeable improvement, what happened? Not an admission that, "You know, maybe this is not the way to do it."

Yes, still waiting for that admission from all my Democrat Senators and Representatives. Where are the 3.5 million jobs and 90% in the private sector? What went wrong? Why were the Economist you consulted that far off?

It’s Hernando County, not Fernando. That said, Hernando is suffering. It’s a semi-rural (lots of retirees) county with lots of small entrepreneurs and construction workers, etc. There are no jobs there.

Sorry Rush, it’s the entire establishment against the taxpayer and it has been going for quite a while. Oh, I forgot the $6 billion in cuts the Republican proposed in a $1.6 Trillion deficit.

Rush is at his best when he rants on like this.

I was in Saigon a few years ago. I as talking to this Vietnamese who was 23 or 24 years old. Without ever knowing the name Rush Limbaugh he explained to me what Vietnam's problems are and why they are dependent on other nations to build sky scrapers and bridges.

His explanation was exactly what Rush Limbaugh had ranted on once about the differences between socialism and capitalism, liberalism vs conservatism.

He told me there's no independent thinking in Vietnam. If the teacher in school shows you a picture of a frog and tells you it's a turtle you get your hands whacked if you try to correct him by telling him it's a frog. He also told me that since then the Vietnamese government has been making changes for the better.

After hearing this I had more faith that the brainwashing of the VC back in the 1980s did not work and I left Vietnam with a much more positive outlook for the future of Vietnam.

Since all of this I value much of Rush Limbaugh says although it's always a good habit to question everything anybody says. Rush has credibility.

This was one of those mornings (I’m on the left coast) that Rush’s calm rant stopped me mid-project and I smiled and reached for my coffee. There’s a reason he’s the best, other talk radio guys are WAY down in second place.

Like any standout talent, he makes seem easy.

If the end result is that the country's being destroyed, does it matter why? Does it matter? Does it really matter if he's doing it purposefully or is just naive?

Yes, because if it is on purpose, it is criminal. Regardless, IMO, both are impeachable offenses.

Those of us who understand these ‘progressives’ and their plan to loot and pillage the treasury all the while calling it ‘wealth redistribution’ (yeah, ‘distribution to their own pockets) are not surprised.
how lucky they are that they have scapegoats to blame while folks like Michael Moore and peter orsag become multimillionaires. it’s all a con-game
