The title “Sufi” should tell you. The Sufis are an esoteric branch of Sunni Islam that believes in meditation etc. The Wahabbis hate them and consider them worse than kafirs (us).
you can read the Koran and hadiths for yourself to see that the problem lies in the socio-philosophical structure of Islam itself. No "reform" can work as it would mean junking the entire structure.
Though I must add that Sufis have not been so peaceful in their history either....
Even allowing for them being more moderate members of the murderous death-cult called Islam, the fact remains that Islam was founded by a pedophile, rapist, caravan robber, and Mad Mo's personality permeates Islam.
Islam is inherently evil. When Muslims behave decently, they do it in spite of Islam's teachings rather than because of it.

Very true, SatinDoll. I’m a Sufi myself (Naqshibandi school), and we reject mayhem, certainly suicide, and the killing of innocents. Someone posted that certain tariqat (schools) allow non-Muslims to enter and practice Sufism as well (that one’s Universal Sufism). At the Sufi Center I go to, all are always welcome (unless it’s some nut trying to blow us all to smithereens) regardless of religion.
That being said, I can’t resist a little dark humor at the expense of the deceased (may they rest in peace, and may God be pleased with them)......if you read the story, you’ll notice that the kamikaze bomber managed to pull the ultimate hat trick: not only Sheik Mohammed Akber, but Mohammed Zamir, Mohammed Zada, and Mohammed Sharif (hopefully no relation to Omar!). Four Mohammeds in one go.....and ten to one the bomber was named Mohammed, too. Really, folks..........try thinking of a different name for your little boys.

Has anyone? I guess, from what I found, you have to state which Sufis you’re talking about. I also found that a lot of Muslims who aren’t really serious practitioners of Sufism pay lip service to it. A rather familiar phenomenon in all religions, philosophies and ideologies.
