Not since the Nixon administration. I worked for the USPS during the Clinton shutdown and hardly noticed that shutdown.
My Bad..should have made it clearer.
They were holding meetings on mines and etc and he asked why they cant be self sustaining and the head stated that.
He is also working on the legislation per the USFS since both mining and logging involve our district.
Maybe the staff gets paid but all the bills dont.
And eventually the staff wouldnt get paid either.
