Blah blah. Fords built in US, Canada, Mexico. Hondas built in US, Japan. WHAT is an American vehicle?
One should buy what is considered best for the dollar spent. For me, that would be Toyota, Mazda, Honda. Union free products are best whenever possible.
A Dodge Ram truck assembled in Mexico from Mexican stampings by a company operated as a subsidiary of Fiat and in which individual Americans can't own stock is American, while a Toyota pickup truck assembled in Texas from American stampings by a company which is traded on the New York Stock Exchange and in which Americans are free to own stock is foreign. See?
Maybe a Ford...
Nope. Been there, done that. I have had a Lincoln Cougar XR7, Ford Fairmont, LTD, and a T-Bird. I have also had GMs like a Riviera and Jeeps. There is absolutely no comparison. The Fairmont had a fiber timing gear that disintegrated at 50K
All my vehicles were brand new, either purchased by me or the company I was working for. Like the blind man that was healed by Jesus said "All I know is that I was blind and now I see".
Thank you so much for the use of your time, as I am ever interested in becoming a tad bit more sophisticated.
Could you also expound on the idea of spending my way out of debt? I’d like to go see my bank for a loan. Thanks. ;^)
Me three.
Just say “NO” to UAW products.
