EXCLUSIVE: Minnesota resident Jim Stene voted last November -- and thought he was casting his ballot for President Gerald Ford.
"He was exploited, plain and simple. He was exploited," his father, Alan Stene, charges. "This is a moral and ethical issue."
Jim Stene, 35, suffers from anoxic encephalopathy, severe brain damage caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain. He has lived with the condition since 1987, when, as a 12-year-old boy, he jumped into a river to save the life of his drowning sister, Heather.
Stene had spent the last 15 years living in a group home in Brainerd, Minn. He and other residents of the home were taken to the Crow Wing County auditor's office on Oct. 29 to vote by absentee ballot. Minnesota is among the states that offer early voting by absentee ballot days before Election Day.
In an affidavit, Stene's father charges that "a voter crime was committed ... because James is mentally incompetent and is very coachable."
He fears his son, and others like him across the country, could be used to swing elections.
"They are a forgotten member of our society, I think, to where people can exploit them because nobody really knows what goes on behind the scenes," Alan Stene said.
"I felt that he was used as a pawn."
Fox News met Stene at a private residence, with his sister beside him, and asked him about voting. While his words came slowly, he clearly understood the conversation, smiling and trying to do his best to answer. When asked who he voted for, he answered quietly, "Ford." Gerald Ford? Stene nodded in the affirmative.
He was unable to name the candidates or any current elected officials, and he said a worker at the group home where he lived told him for...

This certainly explains the mystery of how Al Franken got elected. The Dims rounded up every last mental deficient, took them to the polls and told them who to vote for. Combined with the illegals who voted, it was enough to barely put Franken over the top.
The Dems are going to use every trick in the book, Google Dead voters.

Board of Elections lists them as eligible voters. Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers — including movie stars Lena Horne and Natasha Richardson and beloved restaurateur Elaine Kaufman — are also on the voting rolls long after they died
This happens here in western Pennsylvania by the bus load. A local democrap operative works at a mental hospital and buses the patients to the polls. Also nursing homes do this. Life long Republicans start voting Rat with the help of the union staff.
I think of it as voter fraud but it’s very out in the open and I’ve never heard of anyone being prosecuted for it.
Franken was elected by only 312 votes, so this explanation is more than plausible.
I doubt this is an isolated incident... nursing homes are rife with similar fraud.

Secretary of state elections or appointments are among the most important choices these days. Fortunately we elected a woman in Michigan who has taste for the blood of fraudsters.
My own grandfather, dead since 1950, was also on the voting rolls when Hillary ran for the Senate. (I guess, TECHNICALLY, he IS still a resident of Queens...he just resides in a “basement apartment” six feet under.)

I’ve seen it happen in Florida (in the Presidential elections) with buses from black churches and unions bringing residents of a nearby large state institution for mentally handicapped people. And I’ve seen it happen in California, with a union “community activist” rolling up in a bus to unload and “help” a large group of elderly, non-English speaking Chinese women who lived in a Chinatown senior citizens residence.
The Dems do this all over the country, and they’ve been doing it for decades. And no, they’re never challenged on it.

Election fraud...IMHO..its THE ONLY way Dems get elected in most districts in a country that is predominantly “right” leaning. Its how Red states wind up with Blue Federal representation.

Its the fraud.And its “bipartisan” -to the extent the oligarchs think it works for them. And if We the People haven’t dealt with it by then...a whole bunch of us Freepers will be sitting around the day after elections wondering just what happened
This is not a civil rights issue, we don't let small children vote either. The idea that reaching a certain physical age is qualification as a voter is ridiculous.
The logical way to solve this is with a literacy test before registration but wave this thought in a liberals face and they'll throw a screaming fit.
And which union do you find in most nursing homes and mental illness institutions? SEIU.
The young man in the article risked his own life to save his sister and paid a terrible price. God Bless him!! Greater love hath no man...
It seems to me the least we can do is to ensure any vote he chooses to cast is the one he wants. That anyone would take advantage of this American hero is beyond sick.

No, FRAUD "elected" Obama, as it very likely "elected" about 70 percent of all Liberals in Congress.
Say it loud, say it often, and REMEMBER IT: Liberals are the minority. It's why they have to cheat to win, and why, if you believe that "more than half of the American electorate voted for this clown Obama" and therefore hold your fellow Americans in contempt, you are being successfully manipulated by Liberals, the MSM, and the Hollywood entertainment culture.
