The Center for Public Integrity is reporting that an unnamed former ABC News journalist was an FBI informant during and after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, passing along tips and revealing a source. We know who it is...

‘According to an FBI memo obtained by the Center, a nameless ABC News journalist contacted the FBI on the evening of the bombing to pass along information he had heard from a source: That the “bombing was sponsored by the Iraqi Special Services” and that two more attacks in Los Angeles and Houston were imminent.
The Center didn’t name the informant, but we’ve learned he was Christopher Isham, who is now a vice president at CBS News and the network’s Washington bureau chief.”
I have a big problem with Gawker, because there is a frame overlaying the main story, called “latest”. Perhaps this just happens in Firefox, but the thing almost totally blocks the story. It is static, while the story scrolls, and even changing the scale of the page leaves it blocking.
It has no close ‘x’ on it, and really annoys.

It still left the question unanswered: why did the FBI refuse to follow the obvious leads to bring the likely perpetrators to justice.

I wish everyone would read that book. I live in Oklahoma, have friends and relatives who were close enough to the bombing to have their offices destroyed and still refuse to even look at the book. It’s kind of strange, like they are in denial that it ever happened. I just don’t understand this, could it be some sort of PTSD?
Jose Padilla looks nothing like him, and in any case would have been much younger than the man in the drawing at the time of the bombing. There was abundant documentation of the presence of an Iraqi who looked like this, however.

Clinton needed it to be a “right wing extremist” operation not a Islamist operation. He had been playing footsies with the Muslims and did nothing about the first world trade center bombing. He wanted to use the incident to win an election against the “extremist” right.
He did not want to take out whatever leader (Saddam) was involved. It was obvious to me at the time that they were directing the investigation to re-elect Clinton and not to find the bad guys and protect Americans. Had he not be such Muslim loving scum, we may not have suffered the world trade center attack.

Hardly. Clinton did what he did best and that was LIE. The reason he lied was simple. His political instinct told him that he would be eaten alive if the public found out that an Iraqi terrorist cell in OKC killed so many.
Clinton's solution was simple: IT NEVER HAPPENED. He tried to pin the deed on Rush Limbaugh and the right wing McVeigh and Nichols and was quite successful.
Bill Clinton's lies on the terrorist attack in OKC and the other terrorist attacks on America were hidden and buried in misinformation but in doing that, Clinton set up 9/11.
Now you have some insight on why Jamie Gorelick was so involved with the 9/11 Commission. The truth had to be buried and Gorelick, just like Clinton, would have hung for their lies about OKC and the other terrorist attacks that killed innocent Americans. Instead, Gorelick and Clinton continue to destroy our country and they laugh at how stupid Americans really are.
I tried to explain to Jayna Davis that she was fighting the President of the United States but she never accepted the obvious explanation. Members of the press with their pack journalism start to believe the BS they write even though the truth is obviously different than the "accepted" version.

This is one of those things that makes me think I am living in the Twilight Zone. It is totally obvious that Padilla is John Doe #2 and yet it is ignored it this bizzarro world!
While I have a lot of questions about the McVeigh conviction and the show trial, why would the Iraqi government go to such lenghts to blow up a courthouse in OKC? I mean, wouldn’t it make more sense for such an attack to take place in NYC, DC, Chicago, SF, or etc?
Either it had nothing to do with the Iraqis or there was a valid reason to attack that somewhat obscure courthouse on that day, if so then what’s the reason?
i believe it has something to the psychological effect of we can hit you in the dead center of your country and you cannot stop us.
