Higher education is state subsidized. They want taxpayers fitting the bill for non-citizens here illegally? The American entitlement industry has gone global.

Actually, these illegal aliens should have been arrested for simply sitting (or standing) anywhere within the borders of the United States!

“ACCESS TO”

Ever notice HOW MUCH that term is getting used? It permits a person demanding stuff that isn’t theirs.

If you hear the term, you know immediately the term user is a grifter.

Do the names Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano ring a bell?

What else is new? Illegals think they are entitled to whatever they want. They already got a free education in our public schools, where their self-esteem was pampered and they were told that they were precious. Thus, their arrogance and sense of entitlement. We’ve brought this ourselves on by coddling them. I wish we could boot every last one of their illegal @sses out.

A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicity.

Yep.

There was a high profile story about an illegal immigrant attending Kennesaw St. Univeristy last year. Someone did some investigating and found out she was paying in state tuition rates. A little more investigating turned up that most state schools were charging in-state tuition rates to illegal immigrants.

The gov. (Perdue) twisted the state board of regents’ arm to quit giving in-state tuition to illegals. State schools are trying to argue a loophole that they are “residents” even though they were here illegally. I believe the a bill is (or has been) working through the legislature to close the loophole and say that only people here legally are eligable for in-state tuition.

GA has a HUGE illegal immigrant population. There are powerful forces (on both sides of the aisle) that want to continue the status-quo when it comes to illegal immigration.

Yea, common sense would tell you that if there are here illegally, they should not only NOT have in-state tuition, they should be removed from the country. But we both know common sense doesn’t seem to apply when it comes to illegal immigration.

This country is in deep doo doo if the illegals ever go Al Qaeda on us.

Anybody who doesn’t think this is a real possibility is naive.

And guess which side the liberals will take?

Indeed, I think this is what the liberals want.

Their student identities and SS nos should be rigorously examined. The costs to struggling Americans to subsidize these parasitic illegals grows each day.

RIDING THE US GRAVY TRAIN

An illegal alien w/ wife and five children violates our borders. He gets a job mowing lawns for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that low wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, so each year, he files an Income Tax Return to get "EITC---earned income credit" of up to $3,200 scot-free. He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent. He qualifies for food stamps and no deductible, no co-pay free health care. His children get free school breakfasts and lunches. The kids qualify for monthly SSI checks, faking ADD; the illegal and his wife get SSI if they fake being aged, blind or disabled; SSI qualifies them for Medicare. Plus illegals don't worry about pricey items like car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance, and qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

A refundable tax credit lets you get the cash even if you owe no taxes.....

Earned Income Tax Credit is also available to immigrants who obtain legal work status. But the law allows immigrants to claim EITC for up to three years prior to obtaining that status. Workers simply file a tax return for the years in which they were not legally eligible to work in the US. The most widespread abuse stems from the requirement that children live with the worker for more than six months of the year. IRS does little to verify the claim.

Many immigrants claim non-existent children, or claim children who they’ve left behind with relatives. Those with two or more children and income below $32,121 could get as much as $4,008. It is estimated that illegals got $22 billion EITC refunds.

Evidence shows illegals establish several identities with phony SS nos and fake documents (which "impoverished immigrants" buy from traveling document brokers for several thousand dollars).

===============================

Illegal Jose Madrigal, the Washington state rapist, had some 30 identities.

EACH FAKE IDENTITY COLLECTS US GOVT FREEEBIES,
--- AND AS EVERY DESPERATE DEMOCRAT KNOWS ---
EACH ILLEGAL IDENTITY VOTES AND VOTES AND VOTES

So how does an impoverished Mexican illegal in the US for a "better" life get multiple identities: driver's licenses, passports, birth certificates and SS numbers?

NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- July 21, 2006 -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said.

The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.

All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.

NEWS REPORT: The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that in Texas, 54 percent of households with children headed by legal immigrants used at least one welfare program, compared to 70 percent for illegal immigrant households with children. Illegal immigrants generally receive benefits on behalf of their U.S.-born children.

.........not one Mexican banks accept govt-issue official Matricula Consular card as ID to open a Mexican bank account b/c the MC bearer's identity is all but untraceable. MC cards are government-issued phony ID's. The Mexican govt designed MC cards to allow Mexican nationals (who violated our borders) to swamp the US banking system using multiple identities. The Mexican govt's objective is to weaken the US financial system, create chaos, and to ripoff US banks. US taxpayers are forced to pick up the tab for the resultant frauds........

All thanks to Bush's opening to the door to this ntl security nightmare. And watch Obama on all fours, all puckered up, sucking up to the Mexican govt (and their advance troops in the US) preparing for the takeover.

=======================================

REFERENCE Here's one way to proceed against illegals.

In 1996, Congress expanded the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to include violations of federal immigration law.

1 While this expansion may not have received much publicity, it could potentially change the face of U.S. immigration law enforcement. Under the new RICO provisions, a violation of certain provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) meets the definition of racketeering activity, also known as a "predicate offense,"

2 and an entity that engages in a pattern of racketeering activity for financial gain can be held both criminally and civilly liable.

3 Among other things, the INA makes it unlawful to encourage illegal immigration or employ illegal aliens,

4 which violations were included as predicate offenses under RICO.

The 1996 law changes in the INA made hiring illegal aliens a predicate act of racketeering activity under RICO, but illegal hiring wasn’t the only violation of the INA made a predicate act. Other INA prohibitions made RICO predicate acts were encouraging or inducing illegal immigration, smuggling, and harboring illegal aliens.10 Together, these additions make the RICO Act potentially a very strong new tool in the hands of private parties against persons and companies that profit by violating U.S. immigration law.

Additionally, the RICO provision regarding the unlawful encouragement of illegal immigration could justify a suit against a private entity, such as a bank, that accepts foreign-issued identification cards that are only needed by illegal aliens. One example of this, of course, is the matricula consular issued by the Mexican consulates in the United States. Since both the supporters of the matricula and those who oppose its acceptance agree that only illegal aliens have need to rely on the card, acceptance of the card knowingly encourages illegal immigration. Part of the legislative intent of the RICO laws in general was to afford private citizens a remedy for lawbreaking when authorities normally charged with such enforcement became derelict in their duties.

BACKSTORY In places in which political corruption and racketeering combine to the detriment of law-abiding citizens and the rule of law, the RICO Act was intended to provide private citizens the ability to initiate court action to compel enforcement and respect for the law.

They keep flogging the dead DREAM ACT for in-state tuition which has failed countless times. It's becoming evident that within their secret enclaves, they have decided that the DREAM is the way to exert Third World power over US citizens and our govt.......preparing for the takeover.

Definitions of ‘gall’, ‘hubris’, ‘entitlement’ should link to a picture of this group of people. If they want ‘access’ to an American education they can go back to their home countries and apply for a student visa. Otherwise, they should be more vocal, push more, demand more, cause more trouble, and be more visible to help bring about Operation Wetback II, the sooner the better.

Unfortunately, we have a Federal government so firmly committed to not treating illegal aliens as lawbreakers, that many states have just given up trying to enforce the law.

On a much brighter note, thanks for the link to the hummingbird page. I love those little guys - amazing creatures. We do get them in my yard in the summer from time to time, but nothing like what I saw in Costa Rica: up in the mountains, they were everywhere - incredible colors and varieties, and you could feed them right out of your hand with sugar water:
