Beck is also battling personal health issues, like losing his sight

What issues? And what's he been diagnosed with for his sight loss?

The leftards can boast about the boycott all they want. Don’t give them ammo—they’re firing blanks.

I agree. It's extremely DANGEROUS to give the leftist boycotters credit for this if it is not true. You're encouraging them do do it more and with more intensity.

GLenn Beck should run for President

He probably could not win , but his voice would light the issues up real nice

I wonder if the vicks under his eyes to make him cry had anything to do with his eye sight? Probably unlikely

Even Bret Baier’s panel thinks it would be bad for republicans if the government shuts down.

Evidently what is good for America is of no importance at all.

Seems no one on FNC understands the mid term election message.

They seem to be pandering to the democrats lately.

And I am enjoying HGTV and TLC more and more.

Not a single show on FNC is on my must watch list when Beck leaves.

The show is being dropped because of low ratings. Period.

Your period is a bit misplaced. His show is still #3 for all cable news in the ratings, where it has been for a long time, and he absolutely kills everyone at this time slot which is the worst time slot, period.

I will watch what happens to make my final analysis. One does not take the third highest rated show in its cable news category and dump it unless they are headed off in another direction. I see it as they have reached viewer saturation for that time slot and will take him to other places they could not go and people who could not watch because of when he was on.

Roger knows the DVR is becoming the single most important item that is becoming a "necessity" for those who decided what the watch and when. I do. I am leaning on getting rid of DirecTV altogether because at any given moment on an average evening, I cannot find very much of any intellectual value that has not been rerun over and over again. The amount of literal crap in the entire lineup is stunning.

8PM #1 BOR 3,259,000

9PM #1 Hannity 2,256,000

5PM #1 Glenn Beck 2,227,000

6PM #1 Bret Baier 2,224,000

7PM #1 Shep Smith 2,220,000

10 PM #1 Gretta 2,045,000

11PM #1 BOR Rerun 1,280,000

February ratings here

I’m sad but not surprised after all the George Soros’s bullying of the advertisers.

For on thing any day advertisers could expect busloads of ACORN demonstrators on their doorstep. Also this immoral and socialist Administration is fully capable of murdering Rupert Murdoch in an attempt to kill the sole remaining beacon of truth...such as it is.

I’ll miss the show but searching for a silver lining here I am thankful to God and the network that we got to fully enjoy the program over the winter when we were both housebound by the weather.

Cable news ratings, April 1, 2011:

•On Friday, Glenn Beck easily won the 5 p.m. hour with 344,000 viewers 25-54, well ahead of CNN’s Wolf Blitzer (181,000) and MSNBC’s Chris Matthews (120,000). But Beck, whose contract runs out this year and has been the subject of intense speculation about his next moves, found himself in last place among Fox News shows, behind cable news king Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren, and also behind Fox News hosts Bret Baier and Shepard Smith.

•Outside of Fox, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow had the highest-rated show, with 343,000 viewers 25-54, followed by CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, with 218,000.

Here’s the full scoreboard:

I agree with you that Beck had become a drag.

But Trump? He needs Fox like he needs a hole in the head.

I think about 40% of the US is now Communist.

We have given them access to our children for the last forty years...why should we be surprised at the results?

"Glenn educated us as no other host since Rush’s first years on the air."

Exactly.

“But do we have the will????”

I think it is really more like, “Do we have the TIME?”

Conservatives tend to be employed, have family responsibilities, church, etc. We tend not to be moochers, bums, or professional “students” whose idea of a good time is a window-smashing, car-burning riot.

Mediaite? Now THERE’S an unbiased source...notice how they pick FRIDAY numbers to make their case? Friday always has the lowest television ratings of the work week...all numbers are in the tank, not just Beck’s. Check the other days during the week...over 2 million with a miserable time slot.

Beck is a big baby.

Have you ever heard the story about the 70 year-old Conn. radio host who got tired of Beck’s ridicule and knocked him cold at a party?

Yeah, I know about Mediaite. But I Googled his ratings and it was the first hit. Even so, they couldn’t put his numbers low enough to have him lower than his competition which tells me ratings are not the reason he’s leaving.

Surprise! Obozo has succeeded in his quest to eliminate one of his major distractors from having a podium. Based on the way Fox News refuses to pick up the Wisconsin fraud, I worry that Rupert Murdoch has now been cowed and will back down in the face of angering “the One’ and his bully minions. We may be watching the end of “freedom of the press” as we know it.

Right and also when one gets dropped they are gone quickly yet he will be on the air for months before moving on to new adventures. I noticed there has been no mention of who or what will replace him. Might be funny to see someone with their own ways but similar message to fill the slot. Libs would just love that!

Glenn Becks ratings on TV were down considerably by FoxNews standards.
