(Mark Levin posted a link to this on his Facebook page):
Donald Trump sent Nancy Pelosi warm wishes when she was sworn in as House Speaker in January 2007, praising her as "the best" in a personal note.
Trump, whos now mulling a Republican run for president, penned the note on a copy of a New York Times article that chronicled Pelosi's swearing-in, and wrote, "Nancy you're the best. Congrats. Donald," according to sources familiar with the missive.
Trump, now a registered Republican, is a former independent and former registered Democrat. And the Pelosi note is a reminder that he has a past political history of supporting both sides of the aisle.
Trump confirmed to POLITICO he wrote the note, but said it was "because I want her to do great, and I want this country to be great, and I [didn't] want her to fail as Speaker. And I like her."
I met her a number of times and I liked her, he added. And I really want her and everybody in office to do great. so because of the fact that i met her a number of times and really liked her, and then she became Speaker, I sent her a note.

Another go-along-get-along, reach-across-the-aisle type.
Let’s not confuse with being friendly on a personal level with not being ruthless where it counts.
Reagan was friendly too but got things done.
Would Reagan have given money to Chucky Schmucky Shumer, or Rahm Emmanuel’s brother?
Weirdhair is NO Ronald Reagan. Get real.
For all his warts, Trump is the only guy out there with the guts to call Obama out on his Birth Certificate coverup
What was he supposed to write? “Nancy, you are a Commie whore”? He is a businessman who often needs access to pols to push his business interests. Big whoop. Curious to see if he wrote Denny Hastert, Mitch McConnell, Bill Frist, Gingrich, etc, similar notes.
If he was in private business and wanted to get things done in NY, maybe.
He wants to bring Barry down.
And he's pretending to run for President to call attention to the hand grenades he's throwing into the Oral Orifice.
If Trump stays consistent on his expressed respect for the Constitution (i.e. shows he understands why Roe & a pile of other garbage SCOTUS decisions like Kelo, Grutter etc. must go) I'll consider him.
Best what? Idiot?
Paul Pelosi is a big real estate developer, too, there could be association or mutual friends in the business.
Don't fall for it!
No we don’t need Trump aka The Rug.
The SRM (dnc) are pushing this loser on us just as they did McLame and Perot.
It’s time for US to push back!
I agree with that. My guess is he will get up to the point where he will have to disclose his taxes, and then withdraw.
So lefty Maggie at the Obama front group Leftico got her order from Axelrod to attack Donald and we are falling for this BS.
Anyone who the so called JournOlists at Leftico is attacking is threatening the Soros Puppet and his fellow new World order thiefs at GE, GM, Goldman Sachs , BOA, Facebook, Google.....
The Donald has them all scared.
I’ll take a go along get alonger who gets to the bottom of the BC question over a don’t rock the boater who calls the BC a distraction.
Others have lost regularly.
I prefer to not be involved with such men, or their dealings as they always use the identity of convenience and never the real one.
Oh please! Trump isn't Reagan, I'll grant, but he has Reagan's directness. It's hard to say the same of any other candidates.
I like his directness, too. And I like the fact that he hammers away at the BC issue.
However, forgive me, but I put question marks over his loyalties.
It’s called “vetting the candidate.”
