"Nancy — you’re the best. Congrats. Donald" (Pelosi and Trump)
Hot Air/Politico ^ | 4/6/11 | Maggie Haberman

Posted on 04/07/2011 10:19:30 AM PDT by Do Not Make Fun Of His Ears

(Mark Levin posted a link to this on his Facebook page):

Donald Trump sent Nancy Pelosi warm wishes when she was sworn in as House Speaker in January 2007, praising her as "the best" in a personal note.

Trump, who’s now mulling a Republican run for president, penned the note on a copy of a New York Times article that chronicled Pelosi's swearing-in, and wrote, "Nancy — you're the best. Congrats. Donald," according to sources familiar with the missive.

(snip)

Trump, now a registered Republican, is a former independent and former registered Democrat. And the Pelosi note is a reminder that he has a past political history of supporting both sides of the aisle.

Trump confirmed to POLITICO he wrote the note, but said it was "because I want her to do great, and I want this country to be great, and I [didn't] want her to fail as Speaker. And I like her."

“I met her a number of times and I liked her,” he added. “And I really want her and everybody in office to do great. so because of the fact that i met her a number of times and really liked her, and then she became Speaker, I sent her a note.

Actually, Mark is scrutinizing a man who seeks the highest office in the land.

And you have a problem with that, why?

Exactly Leftico is a Obama Axelrod propaganda outfit and Donald has them scared . He trashed the Marxist on the epitome of soft left wing propaganda program “ The Today Show” and even the dedicated GOP hater Meredith was run over by him. Donald has exposed this Soros puppet as the strange foreigner who somehow got into the White House and the Soro media is left floundering to justify why they have
covered for him for three years.

Let’s not confuse with being friendly on a personal level with not being ruthless where it counts.

No kidding... His agent is Ari Emmanuel (Rahm’s brother) — the same as Kathy Griffith, and Levi (Bristol’s ex)

I’ll be up front and say that my candidate of choice is Cain. However, I am not one to go around FR and put down other candidates. Nothin I read about Trump makes me think he is a true conservative. His conservative positions are very “newly found” IMO, unlike other candidates who have a voting history, or who have been writing and speaking about conservative issues for decades like Cain.

I do love his bringing the BC to the forefront, because of his fame. I remind everyone, others have been fighting this issue hard for a few years now, Trump is not the only one, just has the biggest stage.

Sure Trump has a business background but taking companies into bankruptcy - this is not the background you want, you want the guy who has rescued businesses from bankruptcy by making the tough call.

So, I have a gnawing feeling that Trump is not the real deal. I believe he is doing this to take down Obama so Hillary has a clear path. We really, really need some discretion about this. Too many ignored the connections Obama had, please do not ignore the connections Trump has!

If you have enough money to cover red and black on the roulette table, you do it. Trump snuffers are out in force around here - must be scared he is going to steal the nomination from Romney.

I am all for vetting, but this is just gossip. I'll wait for patterns.

Agreed. In fact, Trump is actually pretty amazing in action. I heard him on a tape of the Morning Joe show, and he was friendly to the point of making people laugh along, yet he disassembled each person there, one at a time.

I put question marks over his loyalties.

I wonder, do you question his absolute loyalty to the United States of America?

I'll have a follow-up after you answer.

“Trump snuffers”?

You weren’t talking about me. I heard about this through Mark Levin, who only wants the truth.

Does it strike you as odd that Donald Trump won’t go on Mark Levin’s show?

Or do you just ignore that too?

He probably loves the USA. I have no idea. That’s why we vet candidates.

But love of USA does not a good candidate make. There are a lot of libs who are devoted have the best intentions for the United States of America.

Yet they will drive us over a cliff with their wrongheaded approach.

You seem to be hostile to examining this candidate to closely. That is your right.

But back off, while the rest of us have a peek under the hood.

The Donald says that to everyone. It doesn’t mean he would get in bed with her.

Mark is jealous that Trump won't come on his show. Mark supports Rand Paul who wants to change the 14th amendment that will forever change the history of the sovereign American citizen that will allow foreign influence into the White House for all generations to come after openly admitting that he hasn't studied the history of US citizenship & doesn't know much about it.

http://constitutionallyspeaking.wordpress.com/2010/08/17/liberal-conservatism-a-bane-to-the-survival-of-a-constitutional-republic/

I listen to Mark, but I take a lot of what he says with scrutiny so “GIVE ME A BREAK!” Mark is a political hack 1st or he would be scrutinizing Obama’s eligibility with the real facts of the Constitution instead of having fun at its expense with the birth certificate. So, after you have read my fair & unbiased critic of Levin on this issue, go to the main page, read at least these 3 articles & learn what Mark doesn't know or isn't willing to tell you. Then ask yourself, is Mark who you really think he is? Blind following gets you exactly where the leader wants to take you instead where you really should be going.

Not at all. I just don't want people to focus on a few things which might seem wrong, bad or nearly irrelevant, and miss the big picture. Be sure to find out about the history of the Wollman Skating Rink. Just like the Twentieth Century Motor Company, I think it might be a metaphor of sorts for what has been happening throughout the entire country.

Politico's trying to drive a wedge between Trump and Conservatives cheering him on the B/C.

There should be a wedge. Trump is no conservative.

That said, if he wants to go after Obomba on the BC issue, I'm fine with that. Just don't ever expect me to vote for a lifelong supporter of liberals.
