"While at the police station, two other cops tried to speak with James, who remained “very uncooperative” and said, 'I’m trying to trust you but I don’t trust your kind. I don’t trust that officer who arrested me.'

There may be NBA players with character, LeBron is not one of them. First clue I picked up was when they talked about LeBron’s child and his “baby momma”.

I’ll be the first to admit my impressions may be wrong - since I don’t follow basketball closely, but it seemed that he avoided the common pitfalls of young nba superstars - doubly so since he came straight from high school. Dissapointing none the less.

This was related to me second-hand by someone who knew the assailant:
A woman was causing a commotion in a local fast food joint. A man was trying to reach around her to get his food and she slapped his face. He threatened to have her arrested and she proceeded to pull the “Do you know who I am” card and that she was the wife of a local politician known as a rabble-rouser. He responded “Do you know who I am?” She said “Of course not”, he smacked the crap out of her and ran off. She declined to press charges.
That’s my new strategy. If they are going to get off anyway, I want some.
