HONOLULU -- One of President Barack Obama's close friends has been arrested in Honolulu on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute. Robert "Bobby" Titcomb was one of four men arrested in an undercover sting operation late Monday and later released on $500 bail, according to Honolulu police.
Titcomb, 49, attended Punahou School in Honolulu with Obama in the 1970s. The president graduated in 1979, a year before Titcomb. The two often golf, play basketball, go to the beach and dine together when the president returns home to Hawaii for vacation.
Obama's family has also attended barbeques at Titcomb's beachside home in Waialua, located on Oahu's North Shore about an hour outside of downtown Honolulu.

Titcomb is not just a random airline employee but a flight attendant. With Sinclair and the church guys, well, just saying. Also, he’s not just a friend whom Hussein golfs with in Hawaii but he’s the one that it took not one, not two, but TEN big black government issued SUVs to drive The Won to meet with Titcomb during the last island taxpayer funded getaway.

They do plenty of stings like this, to catch people who patronize escort services or look for prostitutes on craigslist or other sites. Most child sex predator stings would not be referred to as prostitution stings.

Obviously it’s not a nefarious cover-up, since the same article says this:
“Police say the suspect showed up at the intersection of South Street and Pohukaina Street Monday night to meet an escort from an online service. Titcomb allegedly offered to pay the escort, who was actually an undercover officer, $100 for sex.
It’s what police call a “reverse sting” — an operation designed to net Johns instead of prostitutes.”
So, it’s sloppy reporting at best.
Zero references to any spouse or children.
If it’s gay prostitution, is the “John”, a “Jane”?
Titcomb? Titcomb? Where have I heard that name before?
Any bets on how hard it was for the officers to refrain from laughing?
I'm going out on a limb here on a chix with dix prostitution sting. The T-Gals are all the rage in Hawaii.
I just don’t think we’re going to see it announced in the news gay or straight escort.
In my personal observation - my straight friends don’t go to Honolulu (since, the mid 80’s at least....) my gay friends go there - and move there before they realize how expensive it is to live there.
