No wonder he's become such good pals with Al Sharpton.

President Obama's approval ratings among black voters plummeted last month to their lowest levels ever, while his support among Hispanics took a tumble in the same period, according to a surprising new poll released yesterday.

Blacks continue to back him by a wide margin, with 85 percent of respondents saying they approved of him in the latest Gallup poll.

But that number dropped a hefty 5 percentage points from last month, marking the lowest rating among that core constituency that he's had since taking office.

He also dropped 5 points among Hispanics, sliding from 59 percent to 54, according to the poll. That number ties his July and August 2010 lows.

The one-two punch among two groups that helped usher him into the White House comes just after he announced the kickoff of his 2012 election campaign.

A lot of people decide if they like you or not based on your skin color. "Is he one of the good people? Or is he one of them?"

Fortunately, there seems to be at least a slight diminishment in this sort of disgusting racism.

Someone had a good article on this yesterday. They attribute this almost entirely to the fact that escalating food and energy prices affect low-income people disproportionately. To post a magnificent quote from that article:

Inflation is the one piece of news that the administration’s allies in the media cannot conceal. The daily news from the supermarket cash register speaks, and the gas station is more eloquent than anything that the New York Times can print.

It's not skin color, it's overall appearance. If one black person wears a nice suit and tie and has a clean appearance, then that's a lot different than a ghetto thug with his pants on the ground. But I would have the same reaction if both persons were white.

Which explains his buttkissing of alsharpton.

Blacks will not vote for the republican but they will stay home.

He has much to fear and kissing that race hustler will impress no one.

Any GOPer want to know what the reelect the mesiah campaign will look like then look back to the elect Rahm syrup fest that Axelrod ran. Tiny Dancer did not even speak in his own commercials, lest he sound harsh and drive away the “nice” white woman vote. Plenty of pleasant looking and sounding “diversity” and other goo goo meant to appeal to the vanity of Suzy Soccer Mom. FTR blacks haven’t been as sidelined in an election since the Strom Thurmond era as they were in Chicago’s mayoral fiasco 2011.

The problem we went from the original Civil Rights Movement, that emphasized that skin color didn’t matter, but it was character that mattered. Then we threw out the character part, and the movement was about saying that belief and value systems didn’t matter.

Poll respondents must be top heavy with Republicans.
85%? Sorry but I do not believe it.

Ruh Roh! G-d willing, let this be a real trend. HIS union buddies don’t want black kids to get a better education. His far left loons are genociding black babies through their abortion clinics. HE flaunts his wealth and his extravagance while most of them don’t have jobs. Many have probably lost homes they couldn’t ever afford after he promised them it wouldn’t happen. Can’t drive anywhere. And ze bam, he don’t give one good damn.

For a very long time (over a century) the Democrats said: "It's all about skin color."
Then Martin Luther King came along. He was a Republican. He said: "It should be about Character."
After he was killed, the Democrats drifted back to: "It's all about skin color."

In 2008, blacks looked at the back of Obama's hand, and 95% of them said, "I'll vote for that guy." And a lot of whites looked at the back of his hand and said, "If I don't vote for him, it means I'm a racist, which yeah, I kind of am, but I don't want to admit that, so I'll vote for him."

Republicans, on the other hand, have been pretty consistent at saying, "I don't care what the candidate looks like -- tell me his ideas. Tell me what kind of person he is."

"according to a surprising new poll released yesterday."

It seems like everything to this administration and their cheerleaders, the lame stream media, is either a surprise or unexpected.

This is the article by Ronald Brownstein in the The National Journal.
http://hotlineoncall.nationaljournal.com/archives/2011/04/pew-poll-obama.php

I was amazed at the comments from the readers of this far-left rag. These guys are really down and disillusioned with the anointed one. Most of the discussion is about who is really the racist.

Got a chuckle from one guy calling himself General Bullright:
“I didn’t used to be a racist, but Obama made me that way! I voted for him, but now, I think he should be shining shoes down at the barber shop!”

Black respondents. What don’t you believe?

Obama’s biggest liability is that he appears ineffective in every area of being president.

This is where an older, more seasoned man could rise to defeat him in a landslide.
