Picture taken at 7:30 this morning. Don’t worry FReeper friends, I believe it will melt before July 23.

I wish you well—and I sincerely wish you could send some of that melt-off to the parched plains of Texas!

I used to not mind Winter, and even enjoyed a good snow. After these past two years, not any more. lol
This year was the first time I’d ever seriously thought of moving to Florida.

You think you have it bad, try St. George:

Took a drive up over Strawberry Reservoir the other day. The snow over 7000 feet hasn’t started to melt yet, and it’s DEEP.
There is a lot of water up in those hills, and this last week of storms has just added a bunch to it.
Good news for Spring and Summer skiers.

I live in Newcastle, CA just an hour from the ski areas of the Sierra. I-80 into the Sierra was open to chains only yesterday and an additional bunch of snow was dumped on an already very thick snow pack.
Our Sacramento River is at high levels already and the snow pack hasn’t even begun to melt. We may see snow in the mountains at least into late July.

I have lived in SoCal since 1960, and we got a hail storm here last night that I have NEVER the likes of before. It covered the ground in at least a layer of hail about 1/4 inch until all the ground was white. I know it sounds lame for those who get snow, but I have seen hail here on occasion, but not like this.

We’re supposed to drive over to Parowan tonight to see a play with grandson starring. Doubt we’ll make it. Especially not over 14.

Be careful with the avalanche danger. I quit skiing twenty years ago. Our 75 year old development director in SLC is still at it.

Our son works for Intel in Folsom. Don’t know what might be happening there right now as he is in China. Maybe a tidal wave from Folsom dam will help him move down to Sacto.

It’s been snowing here all day in Sedona, AZ. Tourists are doing some unaccustomed skip-sliding today.
To: BlazingArizona
Still snowing here as well. We’re twelve miles east of Zion National Park and expected, hoping tourism to begin soon. Not today.
I got caught last year in Flagstaff. I think there was three or four feet of snow.
Sedona is very nice.

That is really the truth. We really love being here. I just wish it would stop Al Goring us this winter. Spring?
