>"This was a bait and switch by the Arab League. They got Libya knowing they were going for Israel."

That would explain this.

Colonel Gaddafi appeals to 'our son' Barack Obama to tell Nato to lay off

Appreciate your thots but you still haven’t convinced me. I still want a ticket and here’s why: In terms of Biblical prophecy I don’t see how the collective 22 Arab states currently have the horsepower to gang up on Israel. Among other things I study weapons. The mental midgets who currently run the Arab 22 don’t have the collective geniousity to run a chain of grocery stores never mind a combined military advance in force. They don’t have ground or sea transport. They don’t have air transport. They don’t understand re-supply and are not equipped to undertake it. (Libya case in point) The oil states don’t even own many of their own tankers. None of them are capable of mobilizing their own populations except to march on their own palaces. They keep hoping they can hire someone else to take cheap shots at Israel but you can see how that’s working out for the Gaza’s especially now that Benjamin has activated Iron Dome. And remember this: Israel only has to defend it’s own borders. Simultaneously they clearly have the means to take out every one of the 22 capitols before the first day is over. The rocket that was just used to hit the Israeli bus was made in Russia. That had to come via Iran and I’m gonna guess the last thing the Russians need is a Mossad counter attack just to even things up. A bunch of really angry Jews could set Mother Russia back a couple decades so I look for Ivan to throttle back on the Iranians which will make the Mullahs a little apprehensive about starting a fight on their own. That would set up my question to you: Which of the Arab 22 do you see as willing to step out first under their own flag to attack Israel? And BTW, even with oil prices up the Russians can’t afford to keep their airforce in the air and that pretty much keeps the Gog part of the prophesy out of the picture for the forseable future-——In my view, I’m not saying it’s easy, but Israel has them surrounded.

In addition to all of the points you make, the 22 Arab states could never agree on anything: Who leads? When to start? Who goes (or, more specifically, who gets destroyed) first?

I also hope Soothesayer is wrong, just as you said.

I like the research; the only thing I do not completely agree upon is that Russia has some pretty tight relations with “Persia” at this point and has been looking for influence (and territory) south of the Caucauses since Ivan the Terrible’s time.

Hard to see a situation in which Turkey and Russia are on the same side on anything, but anti-semitism could be a powerful unifying force. Of the nations you listed, the only one with an overtly Shia majority is Iran. And right now, their closest friends are Syria and Russia.

The other nations on the list (excluding Russia and some of the former central asian soviet republics) DO have some form of Islamic law, although the degree of secular vs. religious law has wide variation. If God’s clock is close to midnight, we will get to personally see the cast of characters first hand before the rest of prophecy unfolds. {gulp}

The IAF has some of the finest aircraft on the market and some of the most fearless pilots in the world. In addition, the Israeli air defense network is first-rate, with a massive array of SAM's and AAA.

Plus, if the Israeli's really get pissed, their navy's subs can go after any carriers deemed to be threats. And their IRBM's and ICBM's can be configured with conventional warheads to hit airbases as far away as France and Britain.

Honestly? I too study logistics and I'd have to agree that, currently, the Arab states couldn't move this kind of force without some serious help. The problem is that, while I look at the current situation and don't see how it could happen, I know that it will happen and from the way that things are playing out, I suspect it is going to be sometime in the near future. What I don't know is how it will play out or when.

That being said though, I've recently begun to suspect that the "how" is going to be filled by the US and the UN, under Obama's "Responsibility to Protect" idea, especially if the two state solution actually becomes a reality. I could easily see the UN sending a "multinational" force to safeguard the new Palestinian state and that force being used to attack Israel. One other thought that I've had is how hard would it be to move an army across Iraq and Syria after we're gone? Could Iran do it, especially if they use the recent request by the Bahrain government for the Saudi government to send troops to help suppress the protesters? I could very easily see a Palestinian government requesting that and Iran or Turkey trying to hide troop movements under that guise.

Long story short, I'm not sure how it will happen, but I know it's going to happen and I'm watching for the signs of it starting. Part of that is, like you said, looking for a means to transport that army. Those means, I think, have been shown to us but I'm not certain of it yet. Time will tell if I'm right or not.

Well said and I think you answered your own question——watch for any combination of the Arab 22 ordering in or building a fleet of heavy overland transport. There must be more than one autocrat involved since they are individually a gutless bunch. Remember how many Amtracks our Marines used up to get themselves 1,000 miles up the Tigris river in Iraq? That level of horsepower would just be a start for what would be required for any of the Arab 22 to advance on Israel———

You’re correct and Limbaugh has made that point countless times. The Arab 22 pedophile princes thoroughly hate/despise/ jealosophize each other. The only thing they ever agree on is that they REALLY dislike Israel. Imagining an Arab combined command makes me want to order the movie-—Laurel and Hardy maybe?
