‘I miss being anonymous... that's why I spend so long on the golf course': Obama

The president has been criticised before for over indulging in golf and has racked up more than 60 games since he took office in 2008 - far more than his predecessor George W Bush did during his entire presidency.
His critics also said he also played too much during the crisis into the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico which created America's biggest environmental disaster.
It seems playing the game is par for the course for American presidents. Golf Digest last year has ranked Mr Obama eighth, behind Bill Clinton but ahead of Ronald Reagan, who was known for practising putting in the aisle of Air Force One.
John F Kennedy, widely considered the best golfing president, took great pains to ensure he was never photographed on the course.

Wow. Sounds like he ‘wants his life back’. I say let’s give him his anonymity back in say Nov. 2012.

Yes, when he is actually AT the White House he has to remember which of his aliases he is using all the time. ;)

The real reason is he doesn’t have the slightest idea what is going on. All decisions are made in the back room while he is on the golf course.

For a guy with so many aliases, social security numbers, hidden records and such, I’d say he’s wanted more anonymity many, many times. Until now it was pretty easy too.

Can you IMAGINE if GW had whined like a little sissy like this?
Of course - it wasn’t in his nature -having quite alot more testosterone in his makeup.
But can you IMAGINE????

I'm troubled by the criticism Obama is receiving for his basketball, golf and other leisure
time activities. In our future socialist utopia we will have a national union and 20 hour
work weeks will be the norm. So can't they see Obama is leading by example. Isn't that
what we all want from our Dear Leader?

If Pharaoh Obama wants his anonymity back, I suggest a two-point program:
1) Wednesday night’s speech: “Effective noon tomorrow, I resign”.
2) At 12:01 Thursday, board an airplane and head back to his home town in Kenya.
Yeah, I know, that makes Joe Bite Me the Prez, but at this point, he can hardly do worse.

Yeah, you know I was golfing the other day and all of a sudden we were told to clear the fairway while some anonymous guy surrounded by these tall guys with speakers stuck in their ears played thru. It was kinda hard to hear anything what with the two helicopters making low passes and the police dogs barking but I thought I heard somebody say Jesus, but it might have been Jesus I'm in the rough again, I couldn't hear it all. Anyway when they finally let us resume play I noticed a lot of guys in military gear running through the tress to the next green. I guess they we trying to find out who that anonymous tall skinny black guy was. Me, I'm betting it was Tiger.

I guarantee this goof of a president doesn’t work more than 5 hrs./wk... most of his time is spent browsing Conde Nast Traveler, Architectural Digest, Golf Digest, and GQ. ... playing rounds of golf &/or hoops with the fellas.

I miss being anonymous Not as much as I miss you being anonymous!
He misses it so much, he's running for another term
To: BunnySlippers
But said it was his personal privacy he missed the most.
He said: 'I just miss - I miss being anonymous.
If so, then why would you publish not one, but two autobiographies, then run for public office?
If you're trying to maintain your anonymity, then the last thing you should do is call attention to your sniveling self by publishing two autobiographies, then running for President.
Only the most simple-minded of dullards would fail to anticipate the consequences of those actions.

That was in episode 4 and 5 of the Kennedys on Reelz. JFK needed drugs for him to simply stand up. The doctor was not WH-approved and also administered uppers’ to Jackie.
To: BunnySlippers
However, he revealed he loved life in the White House, but was not keen on the 'kubuki dance' amongst political partisans ahead of serious policy discussions.
Kabuki dance? Puhlease, he can't take the heat so he goes golfing.
THIS is the real money quote. Barry likes all the pampering and "being important." It IS what he deserves, of course. It's the responsibilities that go along with it that he doesn't like. If Special Little Barry could just get the royal treatment he deserves without all the pesky expectations of him actually DOING SOMETHING to deserve them life would be "all better now." Stinking narcissist.

Obama... you are such a confused person... and worse being a president...
Obama says: I misss being anonymous.’...... ‘I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I can’t take a walk.’
I don’t understand this man named Obama, because...
IF HE MISSES BEING ANONYMOUS.......... WHY,THEN IS HE TRYING SO HARD TO BE RE-ELECTED?

It’s hard to believe that someone who chooses to run for national public office, keeps writing books, won a Grammy and a Nobel Prize, sticks his nose where it doesn’t belong, parties, travels, and vacations extensively at taxpayer expense, continually visits golf courses, attends NBA basketball games, is constantly on television, and is married to an ugly Wookie, really wants to be anonymous.
