Michele Bachmann scored a victory in a straw poll held at a conservative conference over the weekend.
The Minnesota congresswoman won 23 percent of the vote from attendees of The Awakening 2011, a gathering at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. Though she was scheduled to address attendees, Bachmann sent a video message instead while she remained in Washington because of the potential government shutdown.
Mike Huckabee came in a close second place, taking 23 percent. Newt Gingrich, who actually spoke to the conference’s luncheon of conservative leaders, received about 21 percent of the vote. Ron Paul captured 12 percent of the vote, while more people choose “other” than voted for Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney or Haley Barbour.

I see all kinds of people wanting pissant gone because of his politics (He liked Bachmann) not because of a crude remark of language no one seems to understand but the two bantering.
He didn’t like Sarah. But he didn’t get zotted for that. He definitely got zotted for the comment. But maybe he committed suicide by mod because of all the palinbots. I don’t know. I didn’t talk to pissant very often.
I heard Michelle Bachman say last week that here “Lexington/Concord” mistake was something like the fault of someone who made a teleprompter mistake. Apparently, she just read the line, and the line was wrong.
I’m not satisfied with that answer. I just don’t buy it.
I wish she would have simply said, “I misspoke. Braindead, wasn’t thinking, whatever...”
I’d respect that a whole lot more. Why? Because it happens to all of us.

She lost me along with the rest of the House leadership. Rand Paul has a bunch of Tea Party Reps pledging to vote against this sellout Spending Continuation Bill (SCB). Will Michele sign on or will she vote with the masters of the party?

I’m not so sure Palin plans to run. She’s pretty effective from the sidelines. Kinda like a football coach or baseball manager.
I NEVER had anything to do with pissant... but debating him on a few threads... his posting grew hateful and caustic... he deserved being banned. Do not try to tie me to any conspiracy... FReepmail Jim himself about me, if you have concerns. I am disappointed in Bachmann. I am angry with a lame and liberal leadership. I want the country that I love to be saved... these people are jousting at windmills and bragging to us about slaying dragons.
As far as who I will vote for... my MAIN criteria is that they must be a true Conservative willing to fight for something larger than themselves.

He got what he deserved.
He posted to me that when it came down to it, if SP was the GOP candidate, he would certainly vote for her over the disgrace in the White House. I hope everyone keeps that in mind.
We had different styles and choices of language, but our common support of Duncan Hunter gave me some insight into how much he loved this country--I will miss him...

Accusing pissant of being a MISOGYNIST? I never saw that. There was only one poster I recall being an outright MISOGYNIST; it was not pissant that I know of. I debated this poster they even asked me to cite ONE female in leadership ever blah blah blah. Saying.. what would happen if a female POTUS got pregnant it would be horrifying blah blah blah.
