It is crazy!
Your weather....and “my” fires. Our humidity is at 5% right
now...not a chance for rain to happen!

I've gone sledding, but that's it. I've never skated or skied, let alone snowboarded. I've rollerbladed, and that was bad enough. I'm absolutely sure I'd break a bone somewhere.

Rollerblading is too close to ice skating. LOL!

Well, I was quite a bit younger when I did that. My rollerblades mysteriously disappeared. I think Laurie may have engaged in a preemptive strike to avoid my being injured, and threw them out.

Laurie denies it, of course.

Praying that Our Lord will send rain and cool temps to your area to lessen fire dangers.

I cant smell smoke at this time...and thats a good thing.Hey LUV, we smell smoke in Austin this morning, and they say it is from those fires.

No doubt it is from those fires if the wind there is blowing from the west or northwest.
It was a strong odor here last night at midnight, but gone
again this morning. I hope the fires are closer to containment.

Yes, we have a strong NW wind here. People are actually calling 9-11 to report smoke smell in Austin. I guess they don’t have a clue, especially the obummer voters.

No kidding! Did they announce the fact over tv and the radio this morning?
I guess “little” grass fires out here in the sticks don’t mean
a lot to those important people in Austin! LOL! They’ll be
complaining of respiratory problems by the end of the day, though.
I hope you or yours don’t have breathing issues.

I’m sure everyone here knows about the fires, but some can’t figure out that smoke smell travels a long way. I smelled it when I took the dog out this morning and knew where it was coming from.
I have allergy problems, so the oak and pecan pollen has me all messed up. I have always had allergy problems and keep meds close at all times.
