Firstly, we got rolled. The only leverage the Republican House has, is its control over spending bills, and specifically what does NOT get funded. I would have enjoyed a spring an summer consisting of 2-week continuing resolutions that steadily cut program after program, presenting the Dems with a "Death by 1000 cuts".

This was the wrong time to go after abortion and Planned Parenthood as a primary objection. It fires up the Dem base while not reducing the Dems power. There are $200 BILLION dollars worth of duplicated federal programs. Each continuing resolution should have focused on eliminating a few billion $ from some group of duplicative programs, forcing the Senate Dems and Obama to have to justify why Dept X and Dept Y have to cover the same ground, until the voting public's eyes glazed over.

The republicans folded like a house of cards. They bent over, grabbed their ankles and let the demoncr4ps do them from behind..... Bohner is a RINO as are most country club republicans.... go along to get along MY A$$.... I did expect this though.... I am now looking at the country I fought for and wondering where it went....
