As I've noted on many threads, I once bumped into a neighbor whose husband had been out of work for awhile, and I said, "This economy is really something, huh?"

She lit into me, calling me a racist, and cursing Republicans and saying it was all George Bush's fault, blah, blah, blah.

I was going to follow up with, "Nice weather, huh?" but I decided I didn't want to take more abuse.
