I cashed mine in as well during a period of long unemployment. Many other people still have theirs. They see no reason why we should have control of that money.
He is against $38B in cuts for the budget for one year, but we are supposed to believe he is for $4 Trillion in tax cuts over 12 years?
They must really believe we are stupid.
China only has about 1/3 of our debt. Japan and Russia also have a significant amount.
When we default there won’t be transfer of ownership until the shooting stops.
Sounds like we need to crank up the heat on Senators in response...
Note that he won’t curb “spending” but the “deficit.” This means he’s going to steal $4 trillion from those of us who are “more fortunate”.
We need to keep the HEAT TURNED UP ON THE CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT.

At the same time, he wants an immediate spending spree of one trillion, and "in his second term" another trillion and a half.

$4 Trillion over 12 years is what $300 B a year?
At the current spending levels the deficit is increasing something like $1.6 Trillion EACH year. In the last 6 months the total deficit increased 16%.
So he’s suggesting we only increase the deficit by $1.3 Trillion.

This idiot could have avoided spending 1 trillion of that 4 trillion had he not signed the 1 Trillion Economic [non]Stimulus Bill.

Yep. We don't have an under taxing problem in the U.S. We have a government spending problem. The tax slaves are already making their bricks without straw.
Half of every taxpayers wages are stolen by some type of tax or government fee. Democrats take from others to buy votes. That what they do. That's all they do. If there's no free handouts of other peoples wages, there's no need for the democrat base to bother coming out to vote. Every election, the democrats MUST offer something else for free. No more free stuff, no more votes. The democrats MUST steal more money from the middle class to pay for it. They MUST, or they can't survive as a party.

Hmm... SO how big is the DoD defense budget? I’ll bet it takes a considerable slashing from the boy-king. We all know that Liberals and progressives see the Military as the biggest threat to their utopia of world peace, so it only makes sense.... I think.
I cashed in what was left of mine in 2007 to build a much-needed room addition. Because it was a home improvement, I didn’t have to pay taxes on the cashout either.
