BREAKING NEWS: Man that police say was stabbed by Duke University lacrosse scandal accuser has died, medical examiner says.
(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
Must be the first time in history a stripper stabbed and killed someone. /s
Mangum’s been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault and battery, communicating threats, injury to personal property, identity theft, resisting a public officer, five counts of arson, and three counts of misdemeanor child abuse. Add a full-blown murder charge to the rap sheet.
Where’s Jesse Jackson to defend her now? Perhaps if he paid for her education like he said he would, this would not have happened. /s
There are 88 Duke University professors with blood on their hands.
What excellent judges of character they must be, shaping the minds of the future ...
It was only a matter of time before Crystal moved up the crime chain. Stealing cars, trying to run over policemen, twice claiming gang rape was just the beginning. And there are some in Durham who still believe the rape story.
Somebody must have acted stupidly. Bush’s fault. Police brutality. Racism. Whatever.
Did you see this?
What goes around, comes around, and often with vengeance.
Hey, she might be innocent; according to cnn she’s just the accuser, not the perjurer, liar, accursed b****, right? /s
Sheesh, what does it take for libs to come right out and call a spade a spade?
She’d be a good one to hire to dance at a frat party.
Yes, the 88 Duke professors are as guilty as the Attorney General who refused to charge her because she wasn’t mentally fit. Thank you Roy Cooper. (I wonder what John Hinckley thinks about that excuse.)
Put me on your ping list. You wouldn’t be Howler would you?
I remember all of the freepers who wanted to hang the Lacrosse team too.
It blows my mind that the 88 Duke professors are still teaching. They should be held accountable â academically and economically â for their arrogance, stupidity, and prejudice. Yes, prejudice. They immediately assumed that the irritating, rich white kids had injured the poor, black woman. They were wrong, and Duke University has had to pay the Lacrosse players out the ying yang. Why didn’t Duke then go after the mouthy, hateful faculty members who contributed to Duke’s need to fork over millions in this case? And...why did Duke University fall all over itself siding with the black accuser before the facts were in?
“The Life of David Gale” is a wonderful movie about the corruption, stupidity, violence, and dishonesty that is the very fruit of university life. The shame is that such execrable people safe inside the university can spend their entire lives being coddled and cuddled by the school’s money and imperviousness to criticism.
“Gee- it must have been a conspiracy by those Lacrosse team and the police. lol”
If you read some of the comments on the article, it seems that some of them agree with you. And that’s not sarcasm!
(ps: I know you were being sarcastic)
I suppose marching around outside the courthouse carrying lacrosse sticks would be construed as some sort of jury tampering...
She’s gonna need a really good public defender...has Nifong got his law license back yet?
These clowns were included in the release that Duke signed when it settled. American universities are politically corrupt. They survive on government money, and most rely on students taking five or more years to graduate.
Has there been so much as an official and recent “peep” from the President and Faculty of Duke University about this bipolar pole dancer? It wasn’t so long ago that eighty-eight of them seemed ready to give her an honorary degree.
And he who comes first comes last.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Her previous misdeeds were never met with any consequences. The escalation of her crimes was virtually inevitable, and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if she gets off light for this.
“Duke University lacrosse scandal accuser..”
She was an ignorant, lying, habitual criminal racist, enabled by the black racist community of Durham and the white liberals who sought to use that racism as an engine to generate personal political power.
Then there are the self-hating, scum “professors” who acted from simple pure, personal hatred of all things white, Christian and male.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets off light for this..”
Me either. Her defense (my prediction) will be “psychiatric issues resulting from the Duke Lacrosse fiasco”. It will be some warped PTSD thing to say that she isn’t mentally competent to stand trial. IMHO
Why do liberals, such as the Duke 88 professors, never get called out on their bad judgement? Why do liberals never have to pay a price for their involvement, or their bad judgement, or being on the wrong side of an issue, or any of that???????
Clearly this girl was bad news and troubled, but Jesse Jackson and the faculty and the DA and all the rest of the liberals had to score their political points in the Duke lacrosse case. Will they be called out for their obvious lack of judgement here???
Another thread said that this girl had been in trouble for years. But she had been enabled by various events and never was made responsible for anything she did. Hopefully she will have many years in prison now to think about what she has done.
“...And there are some in Durham who still believe the rape story.”
Those same people still believe Obama’s promises as well.
It be lookin like da nappy hedded ho be goin to da slam.
No, I’m not Howler or was it Howlin? What ever happened to him/her?
Duke and the corrupt faculty wish this would all go away. It won’t.
“Duke and the corrupt faculty wish this would all go away.”
I doubt they care one way or another.
As has become the standard in modern day America, NO ONE is holding their feet to the fire for their gross and aggressive misjudgments. No one.
For the Left, there is no such thing as accountability, repercussions, or even personal shame.
Conservatives had our feet on her liberal neck for too long, so she decided to leave. She took most of her howler monkeys with her.
I think Howlin got a time out on the Rudy G superbugzapper thread, but never came back after the time out got lifted.
She left in the bug Zapper thread.
She thought the Christians had had their boot on the neck of the Republican party for too long.
Basically she is a pro-abrtion and drugs libertarian.
If her victim were white, she probably would. Eric Holder himself would try to find a way to be on the jury.
I do not understand why she was never charged for making false accusations, and why there was no followup on the DNA found on her.
I don’t understand either why she was never charged. So many mysteries about this case. Why wasn’t she charged for her previous crimes? What is the story with the police chief? Why did he disappear when the case broke? Many questions.
I guess to wish that she would rot in jail might be considered racist.
Has anyone heard from Jesse on how his fine young hard-working student is doing?
I expect the Revund Jaaaaaackson’s response would be:
“Who? Crystal Mangum? Never heard of her.”
They're all Duke faculty members.
Jesse's dealing with a few issues of his own today.
LOL....see the link at my #44.
ROFLOL Karma stinks, huh, Jesse?
On second thought, may be Hillbuzz on the offense for Hillary?
I don’t understand why she was never charged for the false rape report (her second) and the previous crimes.
The Attorney General Roy Cooper must feel some responsibility for the man’s death. If Crystal had been in prison she would not have endangered her children and not killed her boyfriend.
