Mangum’s been arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault and battery, communicating threats, injury to personal property, identity theft, resisting a public officer, five counts of arson, and three counts of misdemeanor child abuse. Add a full-blown murder charge to the rap sheet.

Where’s Jesse Jackson to defend her now? Perhaps if he paid for her education like he said he would, this would not have happened. /s

There are 88 Duke University professors with blood on their hands.

What excellent judges of character they must be, shaping the minds of the future ...

It was only a matter of time before Crystal moved up the crime chain. Stealing cars, trying to run over policemen, twice claiming gang rape was just the beginning. And there are some in Durham who still believe the rape story.

Yes, the 88 Duke professors are as guilty as the Attorney General who refused to charge her because she wasn’t mentally fit. Thank you Roy Cooper. (I wonder what John Hinckley thinks about that excuse.)

It blows my mind that the 88 Duke professors are still teaching. They should be held accountable — academically and economically — for their arrogance, stupidity, and prejudice. Yes, prejudice. They immediately assumed that the irritating, rich white kids had injured the poor, black woman. They were wrong, and Duke University has had to pay the Lacrosse players out the ying yang. Why didn’t Duke then go after the mouthy, hateful faculty members who contributed to Duke’s need to fork over millions in this case? And...why did Duke University fall all over itself siding with the black accuser before the facts were in?

“The Life of David Gale” is a wonderful movie about the corruption, stupidity, violence, and dishonesty that is the very fruit of university life. The shame is that such execrable people safe inside the university can spend their entire lives being coddled and cuddled by the school’s money and imperviousness to criticism.

These clowns were included in the release that Duke signed when it settled. American universities are politically corrupt. They survive on government money, and most rely on students taking five or more years to graduate.

Has there been so much as an official and recent “peep” from the President and Faculty of Duke University about this bipolar pole dancer? It wasn’t so long ago that eighty-eight of them seemed ready to give her an honorary degree.

And he who comes first comes last.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Her previous misdeeds were never met with any consequences. The escalation of her crimes was virtually inevitable, and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if she gets off light for this.

“Duke University lacrosse scandal accuser..”

#####

My ass.

She was an ignorant, lying, habitual criminal racist, enabled by the black racist community of Durham and the white liberals who sought to use that racism as an engine to generate personal political power.

Then there are the self-hating, scum “professors” who acted from simple pure, personal hatred of all things white, Christian and male.

Me either. Her defense (my prediction) will be “psychiatric issues resulting from the Duke Lacrosse fiasco”. It will be some warped PTSD thing to say that she isn’t mentally competent to stand trial. IMHO

Why do liberals, such as the Duke 88 professors, never get called out on their bad judgement? Why do liberals never have to pay a price for their involvement, or their bad judgement, or being on the wrong side of an issue, or any of that???????

Clearly this girl was bad news and troubled, but Jesse Jackson and the faculty and the DA and all the rest of the liberals had to score their political points in the Duke lacrosse case. Will they be called out for their obvious lack of judgement here???

Another thread said that this girl had been in trouble for years. But she had been enabled by various events and never was made responsible for anything she did. Hopefully she will have many years in prison now to think about what she has done.

I doubt they care one way or another.

As has become the standard in modern day America, NO ONE is holding their feet to the fire for their gross and aggressive misjudgments. No one.

For the Left, there is no such thing as accountability, repercussions, or even personal shame.

Basically she is a pro-abrtion and drugs libertarian.

I don’t understand why she was never charged for the false rape report (her second) and the previous crimes.

The Attorney General Roy Cooper must feel some responsibility for the man’s death. If Crystal had been in prison she would not have endangered her children and not killed her boyfriend.
