Tax Me, I'm Rich, Says Deep-Pocketed Group of Millionaires Demanding Higher Taxes

(SUCH MANIPULATION!..ANYBODY THAT WANTS TO, CAN PAY AS MUCH TAX AS THEY WANT TO THE GOVERNMENT....this is mindgame propaganda and I especially love the strategic "criticism" of Obama....contrived! how transparent can you be!)

abcnews.com By ALAN FARNHAM April 12, 2011

Patriotic Millionaires for Fiscal Strength--rich guys in favor of raising taxes on themselves and other wealthy people--say they are irritated over President Obama's failure to do just that.

Nor do they believe his latest announcement that he intends to try again, says Erica Payne, founder of the Agenda project and coordinator of the Patriotic Millionaires campaign.

The president, when a candidate in 2008, had recommended ending the Bush tax cuts for households earning over $250,000 a year. But he conceded that point when he signed into law in 2010 an agreement with Republicans to extend the Bush tax cuts two more years.

It's that concession that has disappointed and rankled Patriotic Millionaires, curdling their feelings. "The administration cut the deal they felt they needed to cut," shrugs Payne. "But we disagreed wholeheartedly. The president's quick and easy capitulation on an issue with such solid moral elements was disheartening."

One of Obama's primary jobs, she says, is to be chief educator.

"He did not do a good job on this issue or on the one we are currently facing. There's a moral lens through which you have to view these choices."

No one is stopping them from donating additional money to the gov’t if they wish. They can give their entire estate to the government if they damn well please.

the bottom line is that they cannot stand the competition.

They got theirs and they want to prevent you from reaching where they are, as you might not think the way that they do, and would spend your resources opposing their thinking.

Tax the rich and see them flee
From here to balmy Italy!
Like former manufacturing,
taxes are most fracturing.

If regulation’s grip relaxes,
Oama doesn’t raise their taxes,
Perhaps the good ole days return,
Abort another Rome to burn.

They are completely free to grab a pen and a checkbook and write a check for whatever they think they should be taxed. Are they so weak willed they have to wait for big brother to tell them what to do?

I see. So now taxes are morally based and not econmically based?

Gee, what a great idea!

Then they can overpay. No one will stop them. But anyone who tries to tell me what my ‘moral choices’ should be had better pack a lunch and bring a hard hat.

House Republicans can nip this idiot idea in the bud by opening a "TAX ME MORE" like Mike Huckabee did in Arkansas. Huckaboo simply shut the liberals up by opening an account in which those that were screaming "Im rich, tax me more!" and would let them donate to Arkansas. Amount received: $147.00

The Federal govt does have a similar donation option on their website called pay.gov. Heck, you can even pick the agency to receive your donation, including the EPA, the Energy Department, the DOJ's Prison Bureau, etc. Some of the agencies that don't have a donation option include the Peace Corps and the Dept. of Education.

According to PJTV, they've collected approx $600,000 overall. That would cover one year of Obama's salary and the salary of his closest aid. That's all.

So what’s been keeping these idiots from just whipping out their checkbooks and writing big checks to the department of the treasury?

Maybe the wish to “make sure” that all the rich people (i.e. tax payers) pay “their fair share?”

Un-Fricking-Believable!

I believe that it was MA that had a "check-box" on their tax forms that would allow anyone to pay a higher percentage of their income as tax... Practically nobody checked that box!

Why don’t they proudly show their returns and the box showing they used the Clinton tax rates? Nothing stopping them.

Someone in congress needs to introduce a bill that adds a line to all IRS forms that says "Additional amount taxpayer chooses to pay: $________ " so these pro-tax libs can put their money where their mouths are.
