No doubt that Charles Krauthammer is the Dean Witter of the pundit world.
I think he is doing his best to redeem his shaky past.
He worked for the Carter administration ( to direct planning in psychiatric research ), and he wrote for the New Republic, and he is still associated with NPR I believe. He got his Pulitzer Prize when with the Washington Post.
I don’t know many commentators who come better prepared to discuss the issue at hand whether you agree with him or not.

His one redeeming quality is that he’s honest about what he wants. He openly calls for more and more government control, rather than trying to pass it off as capitalism like the RINOs do.
The fact that 1/3 of the voters still like this guy illustrates how deluded and ignorant 1/3 of the electorate is.
Obama’s speech was disgusting. I think Krauthammer is correct when he calls it disgraceful.
Step aside, Barack, while the grown-ups deliver us from your mess.
