Same here. Everyplace I've lived I've only planted greens once. They volunteer after that. Can't go wrong there.
I am working to add an okra plot to my space this year. Have missed it the last 3 years.
Weird thing with this place we bought. We looked at it and made offer 2 - 1/2 years before we bought it. Got outbid for it. When we looked at it then it had a beautiful terraced garden with tomatoes, peppers, onions, squash and cukes growing healthy. Garden is on the side of a hill so it needed the rocked in terraces. We got outbid for the house that time but 2 years later it was on the market again. That lady that bought it the first time had hauled off all the rocks and let bermuda grass grow all over the good garden soil. Our project now is to get enough stone to re-do the terraces. Only then can we take out the grass without all the good soil eroding. We either need time to do it or enough money to pay somebody else to do it and haven't had enough of either one to get it done yet.
Today is JUNIOR'S day.

I’ll catch the first 5 minutes and then errands demand to be done. I hate this week home/week on the road stuff but you do what ya gotta do.
