MADISON, Wis (Reuters) - Officials in Wisconsin's largest county said on Thursday they would meet the deadline for finishing their review of the local vote in last week's state Supreme Court race, an election widely seen as a referendum on Republican efforts to curb public sector unions.

The end of the county reviews would set the stage for either candidate in the closely watched contest to demand a recount

Apparently they’re busy creating the circumstances needed for a recount right now.

You mean, for a free (state-paid) recount.

There will not be a revote, anywhere. I don’t even think there will be a statewide recount. There would be no chance of success for the libs. I could see them wanting to recount Waukesha, to which I say, “Let them at it. It’s the most conservative county in the state.”

At one time the Carlson district in Indianapolis had to have 110% of the registered voters participate to pull off the RAT win. We passed voter ID shortly after.

That’s considering they have any desire to look legitimate. I don’t they care (”Oh, those billing records just appeared on the table! How about THAT!”). In their teeny minds, if WE don’t like it, (blank) US.

And the media will support them.

People were reporting in one of the precincts that they were told they ran out of ballots and the poll worker made copies and told the people to fill them out. however, the copies weren’t legal, so the people were told that the clerk would fill them out for them later when they got new ballots. this happened on 108th and villard in milwaukee.

I believe the real problem is that the dems want to drag this out as long as possible so that it runs in to the recall elections on the republican senators.

These people are scum; and will do ANYTHING to win. The ends justify the means.

I am driving two hours to Madison tonight. I will be at the Tea Party with Sarah Palin. As an added bonus, I will be going to the opening of “Atlas Shrugged” tonight in Madtown. Now, THAT should be interesting! What a great weekend. woo hoo!

I smell a rat in the delay in reporting results. This election was no big deal for the election offices. The only reason for this unreasonable delay is an attempt to steal the election. As usual, the rats are last to report providing the opportunity to report just enough votes to win. This last day reporting will obviate any possibility of examining the certification process.

If that comes up NOW to muck up the works, then it’s a contrived story, plain and simple.

In the wake of the state's hotly contested Supreme Court race, a sharply divided Milwaukee Election Commission voted along party lines Thursday to prohibit its own members from speaking to reporters or seeking aid from law enforcement agencies on the commission's behalf.

Robert Spindell, the lone Republican on the three-member panel, angrily accused majority Democrats of trying to muzzle him, while the two Democratic commissioners insisted they were trying to prevent chaos from individual commissioners "going rogue."

Is the certification completed yet, as of April 15, at 2:20 pm CT? Geez, the demturds have been stringing this out for the past 10 days, since the election on April 5. Aren’t there any Repubs willing to scream & holler about this delay, and to file lawsuits against Milwaukee county, for obstruction & delays of the voting process?
