SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people would be added to the lengthy list of social and ethnic groups that public schools must include in social studies lessons under a landmark bill passed Thursday by the California Senate.

If the bill is adopted by the state Assembly and signed by Gov. Jerry Brown, California would become the first state to require the teaching of gay history.

Government indoctrination centers, er, I mean public schools, are not doing very well because they don’t have enough money. And that is because of shortsighted, selfish rightwing bigots. We all know that, don’t we?

It is now time for parents (especially the Latinos, blacks, and conservative white parents) to keep their kids home from school, depriving these districts from funds, until the policy is changed. They can STARVE these schools of revenue, in order to exact a change in policy.

I hope they do it.

Gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender: all sexual perversion, pure and simple. Their behavior is to be condemned, not celebrated.

The history of homosexuality begins in the Book of Genesis. I pray all Christian parents in California demand that the bible be brought back into the classroom so the chidren are taught the proper history.

Social studies? That is the problem. They need to learn history not social studies. You know they wont be teaching the history of homosexual dangerous behavior and the spread of aids (in only certain specific groups) in the 1980s and 1990s. In these books homosexuals will be portrayed as American Indians (OPPS, native Americans) where the white male christian European spread disease to both the Indians and gays to kill them and take their land. The SCOTUS decision 'Lawrence v. Texas (2003)' that made homosexual sodomy a new US constitional right (protected behaviour) without an amendment will be taught to be a great victory for all of us. There is no such similar right to smoke.

Yesterday, I was talking to a recent college graduate (the past year) who works in Maryland and he couldn't tell me what Medicare is, never questioned that big deduction from his paycheck. Forget about communism, didnt know what that was either. I actually took history courses as electives in college and am glad I did.

How can we STARVE these schools of funds? By not paying our property taxes?? That is where the public schools get most of their funding.

The irony is that when we take our kids out of the government schools and put them in private schools the government schools actually have more money to spend while we have less.

In other words; they have more money to indoctrinate the remaining kids and we have less because we are now paying for private schools in addition to paying for the public schools thru taxes.

Doubling down on propagation by indoctrination. The population of San Fran is in decline. Is that economic, cultural or is it that gays and lesbians don’t tend to be (as they say in Cape Cod) “breeders”.

America has heroes in it’s history, and they are heroes because of what they did and the values they held dear, that motivated them.

Harvey Milk doesn’t seem to fit in that mold somehow.....

Districts are paid PER PUPIL and PER DAY via the state of California. This is common across the United States. This is the reason some districts have enacted policies of not taking “attendence” until 11:00 or so in the morning (so as to allow the lazy class to get out of bed). About a hundred years ago, when I was in school, attendence was “taken” at 8:30am sharp.

When you keep your kid at home, the district loses it’s matching money from the state.

Don’t take my word for it; ask one of our FReeper educators. They’ll tell you the same thing I just did.

In California, each school takes daily attendance. If your child misses school, thelocal school district does not pay the individual school for your child’s attendance for that day. Keeping kids away from these schools deprives the individual school of $.

Brainwahing kids in the homo lifestyle (to get priapic "homo chicken hawks" a continuous supply of young sex partners)------ is one of the goals of Obama's radical homo appointee "Safe Schools" czar Kevin Jennings.

PASS THE WORD Obama gave Jennings $410 million for his dirty work in the 2011 federal budget.

The new House majority (which controls all funding) supposedly cutoff all funding for Obama's czars.

Jennings was probably cutoff without a penny---but these people are so devious---he probably has the budget millions stashed away somewhere.

Would love to read the chapter about the 80’s and how unprotected sex led to the AIDS epidemic which was a disease of choice.

A state mandating and/or enforcing this type of thing is ludicrous of course.

But it’s worth noting that public skool history curriculum has an already-unhealthy obsession with denigrating figures of the past, especially if they are regarded as heroes (Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, et al).

There have been well-known homosexuals in history that were generals, kings, royalty, etc. As with the rest of the population there were a certain percentage that were evil and worthless human beings.

Somehow I get the feeling that the extremes of shiny happy propaganda will be pursued in any curriculum developed or delivered.

California will teach, well, you know that Lincoln was gay, Martha Washington was a cross dresser, Thomas Jefferson had gay tendencies. You just know by all that frilly clothes he wore. Our whole history will be racked with homosexuals and the kids will be led to believe America would not have been great if it weren’t for all those closet homosexuals!

While they are teaching "gay history," they had better include the Communist Party USA's involvement.

Harry Hay was safe-school czar Kevin Jennings "inspiration," and Harry was a known member of the CPUSA, a supporter of NAMBLA, an associate of Aleister Crowley and organist for Crowley's California cult. "Stalin's apologist" Walter Duranty of the New York Times was also a Stalinist, an associate of Crowley's ans a participant in some of Crowley's rituals involving homosexual acts. ( The 11th degree OTO ritual devised by Crowley involves sodomy!)

The following three-part article is one of many on the subject.

NAMBLA-gate: The Strange Case of Kevin Jennings, Part One

NAMBLA-gate: The Strange Case of Kevin Jennings, Part Three

http://www.aim.org/aim-column/nambla-gate-the-strange-case-of-kevin-jennings-part-three/

Is the kind of "history" we want our children being indoctrinated with in schools funded by our taxes???

Somebody had better wake up!

Have any of you seen the textbooks they dish out? I've been out of high school over a decade and boy have things changed. The textbooks for "social studies" is basically propaganda for every left wing position and also glorification of Islam while demonizing Christianity!!!

I have a history degree and NONE of the crap in that text book was relevant for any student!!!

HOME SCHOOL your children or send them to a private school!!!

Read your kid's text books before they read them. It is absolute garbage.

YES YES YES!!! "Social Studies" That is what they call it now. It is all liberal propaganda I have a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts in History and a MBA in Finance. Even in a liberal arts program we learned history not propaganda. They crap they have in the text book is completely irrelevant it is basically America = bad, Western Values = bad, Islam = Good, Killing Mother Earth = bad, ect...

When I have children they will be home schooled.

Gay History: Can you major in that with a minor in “Furniture Arrangement”?

Clark W. Griswald: Time for the glue factory...actually, been time for a while. And what THE HELL happened to Beverly D’Angelo? I saw 90 seconds of an “Entourage” episode she was on. YIKES! Smoking 5 packs of cigarettes a day catches up to you. And her plastic surgeon must have been either drunk or had a morbid sense of humor.

I'll have a glass of MILF with that:
