A state mandating and/or enforcing this type of thing is ludicrous of course.

But it’s worth noting that public skool history curriculum has an already-unhealthy obsession with denigrating figures of the past, especially if they are regarded as heroes (Washington, Lincoln, Churchill, et al).

There have been well-known homosexuals in history that were generals, kings, royalty, etc. As with the rest of the population there were a certain percentage that were evil and worthless human beings.

Somehow I get the feeling that the extremes of shiny happy propaganda will be pursued in any curriculum developed or delivered.

you are right. there are some very powerful figures in history that were homosexuals good and bad people but as you point out I doubt that is what they will teach.
