Money Expert: We’ll Be in Recession By End of Year

A respected economic expert is warning that a recession is definite by December and that U.S. stock prices are going to plunge, thanks to Federal Reserve strategies and the soaring price of crude.

John Taylor, founder of the FX Concepts hedge fund and former vice president at Citibank, says the U.S. economic recovery has taken place thanks in large part to the Federal Reserve's money printing campaign, known as quantitative easing, which ends in June.

"Recovery has never really gotten off the ground. It's all government stimulated," Taylor tells CNBC. "We'll be in a recession by the end of the year."

Oil prices continue to rise, thanks in part to a cheap dollar, which will further hamper economic recovery, Taylor said.

Meanwhile, the cost of living in the U.S. rose in March for a ninth consecutive month, led by increases in food and fuel costs that have yet to filter down to other goods and services.

I knew Barky would be very bad for the country if he got in when I first hear him lie. I just had no idea how bad he would be.

Today a lib at work finally admitted he’s “nervous” about the economy.

It is hard not be nervous for any rational adult. Things are bad and likely to get worse. The bunch in charge and their media enablers have been so busy cooking the government books and not reporting the news that it is hard to tell just how bad things are.

For most of America I feel like we’ve never left the recession at all.

Hubby has the starts in the basement under a grow light. We are planning to plant at FIL’s place and probably do something in the neighborhood of enough tomatoes to can 98 quarts and dehydrate many more pounds.Green peppers, jalapenos, cucumbers and cabbage are also being started.Going to try my hand at sauerkraut and pickles.I can get 50 gallon stoneware crocks locally to ferment in then I plan to can them.Am wanting a bumber crop of basil to freeze pesto for winter use. What I don’t raise I plan to hit the farmers market for.Having a professional dehydrator has paid for itself many times over.

I must beg to differ. We’re in a recession NOW, and have been in a recession.

Remember this....fly over country is OUR country...

If Hell breaks out...head for us...if you dont find me...you’ll find someone just like me...

You are NOT alone.

In almost 5 decades....Though Carter.....through Reagan/Bush and desert storm...through the clinton years and the NWO conspiracies...through Y2K...through 9/11 and GW....

I’ve ever been “spooked”...

I’m spooked now....

I pray it means nothing....I pray I jump at shadows....

I prepare none the less...

Israel is the the key...and it has been foretold that Isreal will stand alone...

The world may not end in our time....but it may end as we know it...as it has done before...

Can one be a pious man in a madmax world?

I pray I will never know....and yet I pray for the strength to survive should such come about....

Should such come about....we will face monsters of our own making...there will be those who are non-pious...those who will seek harm for harms sake...for survival...for profit...for power...

The pious must seek each other out...IF...ever comes about...

In the meantime..I go quietly about my business....hoping that what I foresee...will never come about...

But if it does...I and mine will survive...

This man gets paid good money to make these stupid remarks. If he ever had to buy groceries or fuel up his car he would have knows this situation was going on for a long time.Strange how they leave food and fuel out of the cost increase figures;

I'm not so much concerned about the prices in the supply chain...

I'm more concerned as to what happens if the supply chain is interrupted...

As bad as things are, the government has been able to paper over some of the symptoms of the depression. I think he is saying, the full force of the government won’t be able to hide the depression by the end of the year, and even after trying with all their might to force a paper increase of GDP, they will be in vain and it will be OBVIOUS we are in a recession (I call it a mild depression.”

I continue to stand by my prediction made before Obama’s inauguration, that Obama will be a one-term wonder because the economy will still be horrible in 2012. This die was cast before Obama announced for candidacy and it wouldn’t matter if Ronald Reagan was the current president, the incumbent is going to be kicked out on his rear for not “doing anything” to fix the economy. Of course, Obama has done great additional damage to the economy, but even if he hadn’t, things would be sufficiently bad in 2012 to insure the incumbent president fails to be re-elected.

To this end, it doesn’t really matter who the Republicans nominate, so they DAMN WELL BETTER nominate an honest CONSERVATIVE, since he is going to win. I don’t want to see a Romney or Trump get the GOP nomination. We need a Palin, Sanford, DeMint or Bachmann or this West guy people are suddenly raving about. No McLame or Hatch just because it is their turn.
