PALM BEACH, Florida (AP) — Donald Trump says he has put off agreeing to an extension of his “Celebrity Apprentice” reality show while he weighs a presidential bid.
The real estate mogul and potential Republican contender says he told NBC on Friday he could not commit to a three-year contract extension for the series until he decides whether he’s running.
Trump spoke at an event at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Palm Beach. He offered familiar messages questioning President Barack Obama’s birthplace.
He also said the U.S. should be entitled to Iraqi oil and praised the ultraconservative tea party.
Trump says he’s encouraged by polls showing him with a strong following and says he’ll make an announcement on his campaign plans before June.

In what way is the Weekly Standard not really conservative? I used to subscribe, then allowed it to lapse a few years back when they weirded-out on immigration reform, an error they have yet to repudiate. But other than that one policy error, I wouldn’t say they’re not conservative.

Back to this thread: Trump is a showman, looking for publicity. He loves the limelight and this is one way to get it. He’s an egomaniac, a narcissist, like a Charlie Sheen. He’s greedy for attention, and I refuse to give him any, and, for that matter, I’m not supporting anyone for President who does TV shows - no Trump, no Palin, no Huck, etc etc
Trump comes across as a Democrat plant, a clown trying to convert the GOP nomination process into a circus.

Well, since it turns out that the story comes from the AP, the condescending and insulting tone towards the Tea Party and the Donald is understandable.

Ivy League schools are “elite”....that does not mean they are “good”
Minorities get accepted into schools with less academic merit than whites....this is fact. There are also many programs that the Feds provide money for that are specific for minorities (Achieving the Dream, for Hispanic students, is one example) to help them “succeed”....or actually keep the college from embarassing themselves for bringing in such weak students
I know all that,but he made the Statement specifically about his Grades,No One has ever said that he got Lousy grades,obviously he is an affirmative action Case,but all the Same if Trump Knows what his grades were I would Like to see what they were and What courses he took
People from Occidental who remember Zer0 have stated that he was a mediocre student.
As for Columbia, I have not heard of a single legitimate former student who remembers seeing 0 there.
If Trumps plan is to announce his intentions at the Apprentice finale, then he is sure to get a tremendous ratings boost. What better way to renegotiate a contract, with numbers like that?

I don’t think Trump has O’s grades....but it is no secret that Ivy League schools let in minorities without the academic credentials that would be expected of white students
