2011 Boston TEA Party Rally Disrupted by Union Thugs (illegally?) enabled by Boston Police

2011 Boston TEA Party Rally Disrupted by Union Thugs (illegally?) enabled by Boston Police (Parts 1,2,3)

Just as the 2011 Boston TEA Party rally was beginning, a group of Public Sector Union thugs marched in, planted themselves directly in front of the podium and blocked the speakers. They chanted offensive slogans on the 3 megaphones they had brought and continued to do so for the entire 2 hours! The Boston Police, also Public Sector Union members, came in and stood in front of them. The police did not ask the disruptors to leave, even after Michael Graham on the bandstand directly asked them to leave. We had a permit to have the rally at that location and the police enabled these people to disrupt our rally for the entire time. Do you think the Boston Police would allow us to stand in force directly in front of a Union rally speaker and shout offensive slogans and engage in name calling for the ENTIRE RALLY? They did NOT have the permit to assemble at that location on the common, we did. What do you think?

The media is reporting this as if nothing happened. The Police swept the bandstand with a K-9 unit before we began. Looks like the unions (police AND protesters) were trying to start and/or find some trouble for us. They didn't get it. We were successful in avoiding any bad press, they were unsuccessful. Had they been, the media and the Boston Police would have been all over us like flies on you know what. The press, as usual, did NOT report the facts honestly. Treating us like crap as usual.

One must be very cautious when dealing politically with the police. Historically, if it comes to breaking heads (sadism), feathering their own nest (greed), or serving as instruments of democracy (altruism), they will choose the first two.

Add to the unions the federally paid Americorps and Vista organizers.

"Looks like the unions (police AND protesters) were trying to start and/or find some trouble for us. They didn't get it."

And that's why they'll keep doing this over and over, and you'll keep backing down again and again to permit them to violate your rights.

It worked like a charm for the Bolsheviks, Nazis, etc etc etc.

Ask Obama's mentor, Hugo Chavez, about the government-union nexus.

I wonder when the 'Rat unions are going to hand out the red shirts and caps?

This is very serious for me. I didn't go and take films (I didn't care for Tim Pawlenty), but if I had gone I wonder if I would've been assaulted by the purple people beaters, too?

I hope someone has a permit to carry next time these thugs come around the Communist Commonwealth of Massachusetts again (Oops! Sorry for the mistake).

Nice thing about Texas is that us Tea Partiers don’t get bothered. Of course every 4th person at these events is (legally) packing, so they’d have to pull some lead out themselves if they tried these stunts...

That’s why a lot of them are dying. Citizens are tired of police thuggery.

By and large the police supported the NAZI’s in the early days of the movement. I expect nothing less from our police.

Where is Calvin Coolidge when it is obvious that you need him?

On September 19, 1919, almost all of the Boston Police Department went on strike to get their trade union recognized. In the resulting turmoil, there were riots, looting and a general break-down of organized society still suffering and recovering from WW1 and the "Great Influenza". Governor Coolidge activated the Massachusetts State Militia and famously said to the strikers and organized labor the following famous statement; "There is no right to strike against the public safety, anywhere, anytime."

I find it interesting that this sort of nonsense seems to fly best in states without CCW - WI, MA, NY, likely NJ and CA.

You won’t be seeing this thuggery in the South, or if you do, it won’t be for long.

"Bad press"?

When has our side ever had "good press" from the communist controlled media?

Why are we still pussy-footing around worrying about "bad press"?

If police unions side with other government unions against the taxpayers, we'll have a dynamic leading to CW2.

I believe that the 'if' portion of this statement transitioned to 'already done' some time ago. Unfortunately for us all, they have made a terrible choice - for them and for us. I don't doubt that there are many LEOs who are sickened by the travesty that the rule of law has become. But many of those who are perhaps sympathetic to the cause of liberty will have also arrived at their own calculus of survival and self-interest. And it won't include the protection of those who need it most.

How much compliance do we owe to law enforcement agents whom we can no longer trust? That's the difficult question that we will all have to answer. And in that answer lies part of the recipe for CWII.

You are unfortunately correct. The murder and atrocity committed by the SA was given a pass and largely ignored by what was left of Wiemar Republic civilian law enforcement. We now stand on the precipice of a very long fall into chaos and atrocity.

(1) Reduce police departments. Cops cause crime.

(2) Eliminate police unions.

“Looks like the unions (police AND protesters) were trying to start and/or find some trouble for us.”

It’s unnerving to think about what the next generation - indoctrinated to support homosexuality, socialism, abortion, disregard for the Constitution - will bring. Maybe it’s already here.

Make sure our talk show hosts get this. They are usually big boosters of cops. Like Mark Levin, Sean Hannity and Mike Gallagher.

Truth is that where crime is LOW there are less police, and more civil responsibility.

I wonder how the police would like it if they were brought to the hospital and the doctor said, “Sorry. I don’t treat police officers.”
