Then you have no problem voting for Romney, Huck or McCain again?
Evidence: Trump also gave to George W. Bush and Newt Gingrich and I hear he gave to Ronald Reagan. Trump is going at Obama for two reasons, to take down Obama and possibly run. Not as a stalking horse for Hillary but for Trump, and above all, he's doing it to take out Obama.
It does appear they are protesteth too much. Makes one wonder what their real agenda is.
That’s a very good idea.
If Trump is a man he’ll step up to the plate and be honest, and run as a democrat.
I would have a lot more respect for him.
When you see that the media, including some so-called conservatives hyping Trump you have to believe that it is what the Democrats want the story to be. The sheeple continue to follow the herd:
“The Internet poll sponsored by Newsmax.com reveals that when Trump faces off against the best and the brightest GOP contenders for 2012, he takes 57 percent of the vote in a field including Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, and Mitt Romney. His closest competitor is Romney, with 9 percent of the vote.”
THAT does not mean he should be President!
There’s nothing wrong with watching the circus and laughing at the clowns but that dosn’t mean you have to bring the freaks home and make them part of your family.
The MSM and sheeple ignored Obama's past and put him in the White House. A simple vetting of Trump shows he is NOT a conservative, let alone republican.
The reason Trump is winning is that the GOP has failed so miserably to field a serious candidate.
“Trump will NEVER be POTUS (period) “
He knows that...all he has to do is split off enough Republicans and Obama walks in. No different than Perot.
Let’s see if we’ve wised-up a bit since then...
(I wrote this in another thread below)
Dont understand Trump?
Hes a philosophical conservative but also a tremedously successful businessman that must negotiate the liberal waters to succeed.
Its called BUSINESS.
He is savvy...he knows where the powerbrokers are.
He plays the game...he has never been a politico, now he might be. But thats why he is fresh.
What you should be acutely aware of is the counter offensive going on with the liberal establishment in touting these dem contributions over and overthey want more than anything for conservatives to become aghast in moral outrage and turn a deaf ear to Trump.
They know that conservatives, with their purist litmus tests are very easily played.
They have used our pollyanna sensibilities, ie, WE CONSERVATIVES (puffed up chests) can NEVER stoop so low as to manipulate, we must ALWAYS show our cards and be forthright yada, yadaand theyve nailed us over and over.
Its like expecting the Taliban to engage in some kind of code of honor.
Like it or not, it is a vicious dog eat dog world out there.
How about we play savvy for once?
“Trump will have plenty of time to implode.”
I like the sound of that. Let’s start now, by figuratively setting the explosives in all the key structural areas of the old, rotting building.
I'm with you. Trump is saying the right things ... now. BUT, he was a liberal in the past and I don't see anything that he has concretely done to indicate that he is a conservative.
Further, who is he pulling into his support? I hate to say it, but it is Palin supporters that he is distracting; I was in that number. But over the weekend, I've been thinking: in the last election the libs chose our candidate, and who is getting the attention from the MSM? Why? What is in it for them?
The answer is clear to me and I am staying well away from Donald Trump.
He’s just burnishing up his brand a bit. He understands the value of free publicity and how to get it.
Absolutely agree. However, I do appreciate that Trump is going after Obama on the "eligibility for office" issue, and his point that we're getting knocked around by China.
But vote for him? Only if the sole choice is between him and Obama, and I'll work hard to make sure that isn't going to happen.
I was not fooled by Perot and I am not fooled by Trump.
Only because America is the best place in the world to make money.
That is not exactly a lofty distinction.
You and the OP are correct; I have been saying it since Trump started his shenanigans. Trump is not your friend. Trump is doing Hillary's work for her to discredit Obama in order for her to justify making a presidential bid. Trump's stances on the issues changed, in some cases, nearly overnight. In most cases, they changed not at all. Trump in the White House would be marginally better than Obama, but would still be bad. He is a statist and an enemy of freedom.
