Trump is a cocky sob and that sure appeals in the land of wishy-washy candidates...he’s todays Perot...a businessman with little interest in social issues ... no charts yet though, maybe a Powerpoint??...magritte
Trump would be politically neutralized, if he were to be one of many Republicans saying what he is saying.
Unfortunately for those bothered by Trump’s success, he is (not) one of many Republicans saying these things.
He is virtually all alone, saying what so many agree with.
The issue is not so much Trump. The issue is WHERE ARE ALL THE OTHERS WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN SAYING THESE THINGS FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS??
The majority of freepers love what Trump is doing. But by no means does that me he should be considered the GOP nominee, let alone the anointed one.
If what I'm reading here prevails, we haven't.
Plus they are program stealth candidates just running on 'vote for me, I'm not Obama'.
I've been saying it all along.
I don't understand why so many people are falling all over themselves to embrace Trump - some even going as far and wanting him to be our president!
The well-intentioned but gullible among us are going to do us in.
There’s more evidence Trump is the same thing as Obama, than there is evidence Trump is worth listening to.
To support Reid over Angle is to agree with Obama on all major policy.
So you’re essentially supporting Obama.
You’re letting yourself be distracted.
Obama is only a figurehead—he is not the definition of the problem.
Hannity did. Why don’t you watch the video of Part I of that interview.
You can extract business favors from Rahm by giving him money privately or at least discretely. You do not HAVE to appear at big fundraisers, grinning, and backslapping progressive politicians, shaking their hands and saying extravagantly good things about them.
It is not even smart business to do that.
We have competent leaders in the GOP, and we have passionate leaders (that is to say, leaders who people are passionate about), but right now, we don't have anyone who's both. So, in walks Trump, a guy who is widely seen as someone with gravitas and competency and who knows what buttons to push.
There is no "they" pushing Donald Trump. He, like any retailer, sees a demand that is WILDLY unversed, and he's filling it. It's "retail" politics 101, and he's teaching a master class in it. I think it's also telling that Trump, a guy who as (graciously) led a colorful life underscored by the fact that he's on his third wife - a woman who is young enough to be his daughter - is leading all comers. No one who is supporting Trump is unaware of his personal baggage, and yet they support him. It's an interesting dynamic and one that I believe clearly reflects where the minds of many people are: Economic uncertainty "TRUMPS" all.
I think the full throated panic against conservatives supporting what Trump is saying is uncalled for and underestimates the principled understanding conservatives have for the Republic. Trump is clearing the brush for us by mainstreaming the ligitimate question of Obama’s birth certificate, given there is no sound proof on either side of the question that producing a long form birth certificate can’t answer. The stakes are raised by Obama himself who will not produce the easy answer. Period.
Trump will have to run independent, if he chooses to run at all. He claims he will not run even as an independent if he can’t beat Obama, because he believes Obama must go absolutely. Third party hands it to Obama whose marxist Left will rejoin their marxist leader on election day.
To support Harry Reid is unpatriotic.
He’s a demagogue. Even I have fallen for a demagogue a time or two.
Overturn the Obama cart, and the Statists are that much road kill.
Trump alone is taking the fight to Obama at his most tender points, and the MSM and Regime are panicking, as unlike all the other Republican poltroons, they can't get him to STFU.
Trump may not be ideologically pure, but he he's diabolically effective.
Don't worry, your cowering REMF 'conservative' Republicans will move into the territory that Trump has wrested from Obama, as soon as its nice and safe.
I think he told Hannity that he would run as a third party candidate, did he not?
Confusion among the PTB is a good thing. Stir the pot more. Trump is doing a good thing by sowing confusion and doubt.
Not only that but he is in favor of gun control (or was just a short time ago) and has given waaaay too much money to Soros backed candidates!
Nope, Trump is not conservative...
#28 - LOL!!! Good one.
