(lotsa prefacing trash, but gets to the proper point)
... where we are these days with Donald Trump -- in a matter of weeks, he's propelled himself into the "I wish a motherf***** would" phase of his as-yet-undeclared presidential campaign. He's talked enough smack about President Barack Obama that it's time, as Bill Cosby demanded last week on Today, for Trump to run or just "shut up." It's time that Trump talked about Obama to his face.
After a monthlong "Birther" tour that stopped at Good Morning America, O'Reilly and The View to deposit the recycled claim that under Obama, "this country is going to hell," and Trump's thoroughly debunked "doubts" about Obama's citizenship -- including his theory that the first black president's white grandparents fudged his birth records to get him on welfare -- this week Trump went on Fred Dicker's radio show and presented the caveat that he's got "a great relationship with the blacks."
Not anymore. Let's shoot it straight: Plenty of black folks appreciate a blunt-talking guy dipped in expensive suits, as much as -- if not more -- than the next person. If Trump had coupled his reality-TV and Twitter-friendly style with the tolerant social views and "You can have all this, too" team-of-me ethos that he once touted, he could have been the one candidate in the 2012 Republican field to peel away a few black votes from Obama.
While African Americans still support Obama at an 85 percent clip, contrary to popular belief, black America can roll with a lot of the criticism about the president's leadership. But once Trump started arguing that Obama wasn't American, whatever goodwill he had in blackworld up and vanished.
If Trump is even wondering, here's why his passport to black America is probably canceled:

Assuming that Trump runs as anything other than a Democrat, would he have ever had it in order to have lost it?
Being born white has a little something to do with it.
Yeah, the point is moot.
Donald lost the black vote because he’s a successful white man standing up to the black guy that’s throwing hardworking taxpayer’s money at them.
My, oh my! This is certainly troubling!
Could we just get on with ‘judging by character and not by the color of the skin.’ ??? Let the candidates speak the Truth, and those who recognize it will follow. Those who need their ears tickled by falsehoods will not.
The only reason Donald would lose the black vote is because he is not black..There I have said it..You know any intelligent black or white man are still looking into the who Donald trump really is and how can anyone know he has lost the black vote when he hasn’t even said he is running just hinted at it..
People stop listening to the Media they will make you crazy..Make up your own mind and do the research yourself..
The Repubs will win or lose based on their ability to get THEIR base to be enthused enough to show up and vote. Pandering to Obama's base will get minimal response, and lose the Repub base's enthusiasm. Best to not even try.
He lost it when they discovered he is white and might be a republican? Could it be blacks are racist?
If you think you might support Trump for President if he runs, you soon won’t, at least if you’re a conservative. Listen:
to think Trump ever had a shot at the black vote up against Obama, Prof. Gates would have to have attended a few too many beer summits...
He shouldn’t waste ONE PENNY on trying to reach black voters.
If the majority of voters had done their research, we wouldn’t have Obummer as Pres..ent right now. The majority of voters don’t have the time nor inclination to work to find out the facts. WE knew how Zero would rule and WE didn’t vote for him. Many people still think Big Media spins for the Conservatives. I’m not kidding. Clueless and stupid is no way to go through life, son (paraphrase)
He lost it when he said he was Republican. Screw ‘em....
98% of black voters are going to vote for Obama no matter who runs against him. Mainly because he’s black, and he has that stash of “Obama money” to spread around.
From one day to the next, Americans don’t know what to call THIS minority group, because THIS minority group has not decided who or what they are or want to be.
Why can’t they decide? Because being American is NOT enough for them as it is for All OTHER Americans!!!
Have you sold yourself to the enemies of the United States?
If you HAVE, what America would you rather see, INSTEAD of this prosperous, secure and racially inclusive one you hate so much?
Do you (after 30+ years of gov’t. give away’s and Affirmative Action) feel you have NO STAKE in this country?
Will you give up the victim meal ticket to endless entitlements and get with the program? (Of course, youll have to FINALLY assimilate)
Do YOU ever look at your paycheck and wonder where the tax orgy will end?
Decide who you are already!!!
Go listen to the clips. I hope everyone will. It is jaw-dropping how Trump the lib is playing us all for fools.
Trump in his own words:
Forget the 14% black population if you are white, the rest of us have given the blacks everything and then some.
This including a “magic negro” POTUS-TOTUS to show the whole USA how that race thinks and leads!
The dims have only fringe nuts to carry this train wreck ahead.
He’s probably lost the red and pink vote, too.
I totally agree with you..I did do my research on Obama as I did and do on other candidates and I do wish others would do the same.. The only reason I voted for McCain was because of Sarah Palin..There was no other choice out there at the time other than Obama or McCain. That is the reason McCain did get as many votes as he did I think it was because of Sarah..
The symbol of affirmative action grievance nonsense politics shows up to smear Trump, as he carries water for The Kenyan.
Harvard Professor Henry “Do you know who I am!?” Gates rep r’sentn’ the bruthas? If George Will is a spokesmodel for the Tea Party.
To be blunt, the only way for republicans to get even a portion of the black vote is to run a black candidate.
H.L.Gates really writes “I wish a mother****** would”?
This is a harvard professor isn’t it? Nice ghetto language. What a loser.
A black Republican is by definition an "Uncle Tom". In a race between LtCol. Allan West and a liberal white Democrat, the black vote would 90% go to the white Democrat.
I don’t think any white guy or gal is getting the black vote anytime soon. I doubt that Trump is losing any sleep over it.
His Harvard bio page reads like something from the Wizard of Oz. All the honorary degrees, honors, non-accomplishments...his language paints him for who he really is: a ghetto hustler.
I just listened to the tape..It is what everyone need s to listen to..I plan to send it to my email list and tell them not to vote for this two faced old man..We do not need another Soro’s in the white house..
Mark Levine is a favorite of mine and I do believe him..and to hear the tapes that puts a final nail in Trumps coffin..
Face it, the blacks are just to racist to not vote for Obama. Their racism blinds them to Obama, just like I blinded them to OJ and to Marion Barry.
He never had it to lose. What a bogus story.
Yes, I agree that the black vote is lost....however....
I would like to see a long term conservative outreach by way of advertising, community town halls, lectures, going into the churches, sending black youth to conservative colleges, conservative private K-12 schools, free summer camps for kids, etc., in an effort to turn this group of people around.
Forget Trump...he will not run...he would have to disclose his finances..
This is the Beer summit guy???
———While African Americans still support Obama at an 85 percent clip, ———
By my calculations back in 2000, the tipping point was 88%. Below that point the black advantage disappears. If true, the advantage is lost and energy and money must be expended to regain it. that energy and money must be diverted from the main assault.
I have always liked Palin, but my vote for McCain was more of a vote against Zero. That’s the way I have voted for many years. The Lesser of the two Evils. I hope my vote in 2012 is actually, honestly FOR our candidate.
Why should he care? Blacks are not going to vote for ‘Pubbies, esp. a White ‘Pubbie, in any significant numbers while Obama is running.
In accounting, this is known as a "Sunk Cost."
All good ideas.
“It’s time that Trump talked about Obama to his face.”
LOL! As if Zero would allow himself to be within 50 miles of Trump.
The @ssclown who wrote this also said something about Trump lost the black vote when he started saying that Zero isn’t an American.
HELLO!!!!!!! Trump never said that. All he has said is that there’s something not right about the BC. And so goes the media’s concerted effort to protect the Poser in Chief NO MATTER WHAT.
It fascinates me how pro-Obama supporters---tv people and media columnists ----continually use the word "debunked" when referring to the Obama long form birth certificate controversy and to the questions as to where Obama was born as if it is a long accepted FACT, when, in reality, nothing has been "debunked" at all.
1. I guess they are trying to use some kind of amateurish psychological brainwashing technique on the public: They believe that if they use the word "debunked" over and over again and long enough, people will start to believe that Obama's long form birth certificate controversy must surely have been "debunked" a long time ago if a lot of smart journalists and tv people say it is. What rubbish.
2. Really, what do these "debunked" supporters have as evidence that Obama's long form birth certificate controversy has been "debunked", or that it has even come close to being so-called "debunked"?
a. Newspaper birth announcements 1961: This is the evidence that most pro-Obama people cite as concrete proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama was born in Hawaii to the Obama family.
b. However, 1961 is so long ago that people living today in Hawaii but who were not living back then cannot be absolutely sure if non-hospital births were mixed in with hospital births when the Health Dept. sent its birth list to the two newspapers in 1961. Of course, many people who could tell us what happened at the Health Dept and the newswpapers way back in 1961 are dead now, sad to say.
3. Obama's short form birth certificate on his own website that we saw in 2008: Really, when pro-Obama supporters cite this source as proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama was born in Hawaii to the Obama family, I can't help laughing, because this Obama short form "birth certificate" has so much controversy surrounding it---where's the seal? Was it tampered with before it was displayed on the website, and on and on---- that this source could be the weakest evidence that pro-Obama supporters could cite as proof beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama is who he says he is and that the Obama long form birth certificate has been "debunked". Too funny.
4. Myself, I can't think of other supposedly strong evidence that pro-Obama people use to argue that the Obama long form birth certificate controversy has been "debunked".
5. If I missed other arguments/evidence that pro-Obama writers and tv people use to prove that Obama's long form birth certificate controversy has been "debunked", please let me know.
6. Of course, coward and liar Obama could easily "debunk" all the anti-Obama controversy surrounding his long form birth certificate with one simple act on his part: He could authorize Hawaii officials to release his long and short form birth certificates to the public today.
7. Of course, that will never happen, because you and I know that the suspicion is growing more and more as Trump attacks Obama each day that an Obama long form birth certificate, sad to say, does not exist.
The political market place has already discounted the value of the black vote for Republicans and made adjustments.
“The Blacks” was an odd statement, but it’s very Donald. He says things in odd ways.
Herman Cain is not a threat to Trump, and Cain himself would probably get the same percentage of the black vote as any other Republican, maybe 3% more tops.
Trump does (did?) have some “black cred” but was never going to win more than 5% of blacks vs. Obama no matter what.
When an ethnic group votes 85 percent on ethnic grounds, isn’t that racism?
How much of the black vote is there to lose? Ninety-six percent voted for Obama in the last election.
I guess you can add the racist Henry Louis Gates to the list of Obama Supporters who are on the attack campaign against Trump
So many of Soros boys on here yesterday attacking Trump with the “Trump-Soros” stuff (anyone who voted for McCain or Obama in 2008 voted for a Soros candidate).
I guess the Phony-Left is worn out...now they got the lunatic “Lets Drink A Beer” fringe to do some Trump-hate work
The Repubs will win or lose based on their ability to get THEIR base to be enthused enough to show up and vote. Pandering to Obama’s base will get minimal response, and lose the Repub base’s enthusiasm. Best to not even try.
The GOP needs to stop going after minorities (especially Hispanics with Illegal Alien Amnesty) and concentrate on their base
And now the GOP is doing that with the Birther issue.
Its like the GOP is already throwing the election to Obama
