No one is immune from an audit, including President Barack Obama. The Federal Election Commission has begun an audit of Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, according to Roll Call newspaper.
The campaign, a record-breaking fund-raising machine that brought in nearly $750 million for then-candidate Obama, attributed most of its contributions to small-dollar donors. But the size of the haul almost guaranteed an audit would eventually occur.

That doesn't mean an audit would be fair, factual, or honest. My bet is that his will be used as a campaign tool for 2012 in order to show how his campaign has always been squeaky clean and run with complete transparency.
Not ONE reporter, including GERALDO will look into any of this....they won’t even look into Obama’s eligibility. Total BS. If it was Bush......
I’m interested in those “foreign” and unaccounted for contributions. I remember when that idiot Carter’s idiot brother accepted money from some of our raghead enemies, and how that reflected poorly upon carter. Yet no one raises the issue w/O’Stupid?

In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign. “All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,” the Libyan leader said. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency…”
[O]n July 31 that donors from the Gaza strip had contributed $33,000 to the Obama campaign through bulk purchases of T-shirts they had shipped to Gaza…. A pair of Palestinian brothers named Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign in October and November 2007, FEC records show. Their largesse attracted the attention of the FEC almost immediately. In an April 15, 2008, report that examined the Obama campaign’s year-end figures for 2007, the FEC asked that some of these contributions be reassigned. The Obama camp complied sluggishly, prompting a more detailed admonishment form the FEC on July 30. The Edwan brothers listed their address as “GA,” as in Georgia, although they entered “Gaza” or “Rafah Refugee camp” as their city of residence on most of the online contribution forms…. The latest Obama campaign filing shows that $891.11 still has not been refunded to the Edwan brothers, despite repeated FEC warnings and campaign claims that all the money was refunded in December.

Imagine the outrage at an anti-Israel Muslim-raised presidential candidate having campaign call centers based in Gaza... and having met with PLO operatives privately when he was a senator. Oh, wait...
The crime was, and it was a crime, the Obama campaign turn off AVS on thier credit card donation system. AVS stands for “Address Verification System”. Turning it off means you are in anything goes mode. Got a CC# and an expiration, fine, that’s all you need. Millions poured in from over seas. This is why Obama went to Europe and his apology tour before the election. To drum up support for his eventual campaign. The election was bought with oversea’s money. When questioned about Obama said they had some back office system that would “check the transactions” out. What a joke. All they had was a CC# and the expiration date, what could they really verifiy. Sure, the IP’s were from oversea’s and they knew it.
I’m a business owner, If I turned AVS on our system OFF we would be out of business within a week due to the massive fraud, which is exactly what took place during the Obama campaign, that and illegal money from oversea’s.

Oh please. And who will be running this “audit”...the JUSTICE Department???
and this could be bigger the biggest scam in US history, yet not ONE reporter wants to look into it....if not for the the constitution, how about the glory?
Remember how the Obama campaign disabled its own credit card security system to make credit card contributions untraceable?
Enter a legit Card number and enter any bogus info you want with it. Bingo, it went right through, and transferred the funds. A number of people unfriendly to Obama ( IIRC, Byron York was one), actually made a small contribution to test this, and it worked.
You don’t have to be a genius to see all those Wal-Mart Visa cards hanging there at check-out and imagine certain unscrupulous and highly prolific “bundlers” (e.g., Jodie Evans, the infamouly uncivil Sarah-Speech Stage-Crasher, who remains in Obama’s good graces) were likely doing.
Too late - He’s already in. The media’s JOB is to vet the candidates BEFORE THE VOTE...and not just the Republican ones. If they can find something impeachable, then fine, bring it. Otherwise, don’t try and fool us into thinking that you(the media) are finally doing your job. Looks like it’s up to the citizens..again.
That would be the JUST US Department.
Hopefully, the IRS, not the Just-Us department.
Congress should have hearings on this. If only to make sure the Disable-the-AVS Cheat Plan doesn’t resurface.
