Crystal Mangum, the woman who claimed three Duke lacrosse players raped her five years ago, could soon be facing murder charges after the man she's accused of stabbing has died.

When you stab somebody and they die its usually called murder.
A pity Nifong has been disbarred. He would be wonderful in her defense. It was obvious the dead guy was trying to rape her, so it was self defense. The important thing is to get the alleged perp's and the alleged victim's absentee ballots processed before (a) the arraignment, and (b) the funeral. NC be shaky for the Democrat Party right now.

The strange story of Crystal Mangum began long before Mike Nyfong got involved. Years earlier she claimed falsely that she was gang raped. No charges were filed. Later she stole a taxi, raced through two counties, and tried to run over a policeman. Again, she waltzed away from any punishment.
When she falsely accused the Duke Lacrosse players of raping her she was never brought to trial because the attorney general said she had too many mental problems.
Right after it became clear that she was lying about the charges the police chief of Durham totally disappeared. He was still on the payroll but never was at his job.
It makes one wonder - how did Crystal get away with all of her crimes and never get prosecuted? Is there some reason why she was untouchable? Is she related to the police chief?

What law office has hired Nifong? Surely, he isn’t working any ordinary job.
Thank God the intended victims in that intended frame-up were not helpless people, but instead were the sons of well-connected, intelligent, and obviously well-educated families, who were able ... at great personal cost, nonetheless ... to take Nifong and his cheap race-baiting cronies down.
BTW, the Duke men involved are not excused. They had been quite rowdy in the past and did not endear themselves to their neighbors. In a racially charged Left-wing town like Chapel Hill, THEY MADE THEMSELVES EASY MARKS FOR NIFONG AND EPSTEIN. BTW, Epstein had been "gunning" for these fellows for quite a while. I frankly suspect him of "a set-up," and I hope he's no longer on the CHPD.
Most of us smart people can figure that out. In the fantasy world of Obama and Holder, things are not always as they seem. Who knows, he might walk.

Crystal Mangum is mentally ill. She has a loving father and a family who tried to help her but she’s nuts. She should have been committed but the liberal rights do gooders have kept her out and on the streets. The race baiters used her as an icon which only exasperated the situation.I feel sorry for her and her family and they deserve our prayers.
