Oklahoma set to repeal collective bargaining law

The Republican-controlled Oklahoma Senate dealt organized labor another defeat on Tuesday when it voted to repeal a collective bargaining law.

The 29-19 vote means that some of the state's fastest-growing cities no longer will be required to collectively bargain with sanitation workers and other non-uniformed workers.

The measure already passed the Oklahoma House and now goes to Governor Mary Fallin, a Republican, who is expected to sign it into law.

I think the same measure has passed or is expected to here in TN. We swept everything here including dog-catcher in 2010.

These signs and symbols are all over the tea party rallies from the unionistas.

This is sweeping the nation. My daughter is at Ft. Campbell, so, literally, she’s in both states. Just watch WI, and know, the thugs will stop at nothing.

Want to see what they’ll do (just over a minute)? Watch this from this past Saturday in Madison. Another woman had to seek medical help because someone screamed into her ear with a bull horn.

The commies made it look like the state of Wisconsin, and had signs out there. What’s amazing is, we’re not exactly Texas, but, we’re fighting back. The Cheeseheads are winning! They are throwing everything they have at us, and we’re countering. They are the rabid dog in the last throws before old yeller is shot. It’s sweet to see the unions sinking. Finally. All the other states have to stay steady, and hopefully they have a strong conservative base to say, no more.

Existing and new contracts have yet to be fully factored in. What will happen when many existing contracts, not set in the States’ budgets, kick in when we’re running things? My “handle” here and elsewhere used to be “optimist.” Please, someone help me find a way back to that condition because I’m struggling here. We must win or humanity fails. There’s little “we’re winning” in evidence so far.

If Obama wins and humanity fails, what (nutty question) has humanity gained? We fail, as does he and his seed. These realities pose no problem among Marxist-Socialists who see power in a context of endless market-driven wealth as the ultimate end. The producers will see us through. “Badness” as my English girlfriend calls it, beyond belief.

There’s just too much at stake. We must fight this and stop fighting amongst ourselves, particularly when the contraversies are set on grounds set by “liberals.” Among countless others, I’ve been saying this for years.

Best to all of us. But the best won’t happen if we insist on fighting on ground laid by our enemies. Most of us are on the same side, even when we disagree. Please, let’s act like it.

Yes, good news. I wish our governor wasn’t having such a hard time. Govenor Kasich of Ohio is being sued, they have his poll at 30% and he’s being trashed all over the lib media in our state.

Today he said, “if you don’t like my agenda, then submit one of your own. Don’t hide in the bushes and throw (?)” Don’t remember the word he used, but, he was telling the Dems to put up or shut up instead of whining and running to the courts.

Watch Wisconsin, we’re winning. I could tell you all the stuff going on in communities dealing with this. It’s all in limbo because some county judge says so, but, it’s much bigger than that.

The communities are winning, the people are winning.

I felt like you, why bother anymore. You’d be surprised how many are like you, don’t despair.

But here in Wisconsin?

We are energized, we’re taking back our country.

If it can happen here, have hope, it can happen in your state.

The dominoes are falling. Next should be Voter ID.

...An elected official can NOT be counted on to have the publics best interests at heart when negotiating with public employee unions (often ones that donated and supported their campaign if they are a Democrat)...

There’s a perfect example of that in a front page story in today’s LA Times.

Democrat Governor Jerry Brown just negotiated a new contract for California’s prison guards that lifts the cap on saved vacation. Guards will now be allowed to save unlimited amounts of vacation, potentially leading to massive payouts when officers retire. (Naturally prison guards are among Jerry’s top campaign donors.)

Here in Ohio they actually collected enough signatures to put a repeal on the ballot of the law Kasich just signed to limit collective bargaining. We’re doomed here. The union and entitlement mindset is a true sickness. THERE IS NO $$$$

The dominoes are falling. Next should be Voter ID.

And next should be banning illegals from benefits, including free schooling, free medical care and free food.

"I think the real key is to end the mandatory union dues deduction."

Starve the beast! I'd love to see this catch on in all red states.

I think the real key is to end the mandatory union dues deduction.

Ain't it amazin' how few union workers choose to "pay their dues" and maintain membership when the dues aren't deducted from the paycheck?

=They need to end police and fire collective bargaining too."

That's right. Their first loyalty should be the people they serve, not their socialist-minded unions!

You’re not doomed, don’t give up!

How long do you think us here in WI were fighting it. Would you give up freedom????? It’s an ongoing battle, they never stop, we can’t stop. NEVER EVER!!!!!!

I just can’t keep saying, look at Wisconsin. I’m sick of this crap. They aren’t. It’s a battle for freedom, you can’t think you’re doomed. Don’t let them take you this easily.
