There are so many possibilities in this birth certificate mess, if I had to guess I would expect Obama was born in Mobassa, Kenya to Ann Dunham, an unwed mother, who was a US citizen and therefore Obama is a US Citizen.
The rest of the confusion comes from the Dunham family grandparents trying to save family face and legitimize the birth.

I'm extremely skeptical that Trump has been involved in any way, shape or form with investigating the Holy O's birth certificate for the past several years. My guess would be that the anonymous "insider" who said this is full of chicken crap.

It sounds like Obama’s lawyer, assume Bob Bauer , is trying to limit the distribution of the book to minimize any impact. This is a move by Drudge to let them know he will cover it.
Trump and Corsi are both holding their cards close to their chest. Obama's team doesn't know what they have to defend.
An example is the Stephanopoulos interview with Trump where Stephanopoulos tried like hell to get Trump to tell what he had. Trump didn't bite.

Team Obama can probably defend an illegimate birth, an non NBC birth or a falsified student record to receive a scholarship, and probably would like to get out in front of the story.
He can't defend a totally fabricated persona, though. If a fabricated persona is what Trump has, then Team Obama is dead in the water at this point because everything they try to do proactively in regard to the other issues will come back to bite them in the a$$ when that story breaks.
A point to remember is that Rahm Emanuel's brother is Trump's agent. If the rumors that Jarret pushed Emanuel out are true, then it's about to be payback time.

My wife works maternity at a major hospital and oversees the birth certificate clerk's functions. Those documents are granted serial numbers and they are sequential. Obamas certificate of live birth does not match the sequence of numbers issued from the hospital he is claimed to have been born at during the time frame he was suppose to be born there. That is proof enough in itself someone is covering up big time. The certificate of live birth is a computer record of filed state documents and has no legal standing. It is a printer formatted document from a database. As an example, if you attempt to obtain a secret security clearance from the United States you must submit a notarized and validated copy of the original hospital long form birth certificate on file with the County Clerk's office. They would not accept this live birth print out record becasue it is not a legal document with respect to authenticating birth and citizenship.
The press is covering for Obama, Nancy Pelosi broke the law falsifying his eligibility, the Courts are ignoring the issue for fear of creating the crisis that is coming and made worse for being ignored. Liberals believe it is no big deal to ignore that trivial part of the Constitution in their minds about natural born, just like Obama is shredding the constitution daily. They ignore the facts and obviscate the true questions becasue they blindly go about protecting the lie in order to hold on to power. Obamas presumed birth father was not even an American citizen. I truly believe that shredding the Constitution and holding onto power JUST LONG ENOUGH to manufacture a ‘crisis’ that will allow him to declare ‘special emergency’ is the goal here.

Whether Barry was born in HI is not that important unless clear proof can be provided as he is not a “Natural-born citizen” as outlined in the constitution as his father Barry Sr. was acknowledged to have been born in Kenya and never attained US citizenship.

"Real" book publishing is almost as dead as real newspapers. Just as the new media has changed news reporting forever, instant publishing has changed book publishing forever.
If I had completed a book manuscript, how long do you think it would take to: (1) aquire a publisher for that manuscript, (2) print proof copies, and have them approved, (3) publish the book, (4) have the book listed on Amazon.com, (5) have someone order the book, (6) ship the book to the buyer? How long would it take to do all that? Two-three weeks.
How much would it cost me (the author) to publish my manuscript as stated above? $0.00.
Take a look at createspace.com (one of many self publishing firms). It allows anyone to publish a book for literally nothing. Plus they supply a distribution channel.
The idea that a book has to be published by a "serious" publishing house to be taken seriously is buggy-whip thinking. Ten years from now, major book publishing houses will be no more important than major newspapers and major record labels.

And the biggest crisis would be discovering the sitting president was not born in the USA.
You'd have a contingent saying he was never president (because he was not a natural born citizen), and that nothing he signed into law was legal.
On the other side, you'd have people that natural born citizen was never defined the constitution (which is technically true), so they would simply declare Obama to be a natural born citizen because his mother was a citizen at the time of his birth.
My guess is it would be total chaos.

The fact that a president of the United States of America steadfastly refuses to do this one simple thing, should alarm every American.
If he is what (and who) he says he is, then he has nothing to lose, and everything to gain by releasing this information to the public.
Logic leads us to the conclusion that he is withholding something that would de-legitimize his presidency.
The whole issue is as simple as that.
